Shopping Trip

Hi Guys

My daughter and I are off on a Christmas shopping trip tomorrow to Bath. Can anybody tell me what the shops are like there. I understand the Christmas market is quite good.

Hi Sue my lovely,

Well funnily enough, exactly this time last year I went on a shopping trip to Bath!

There are lots of quirky shops near to the Christmas market, and there were some nice shops at the "top" end of the town. Also there's a Disney Store

I don't remember the Christmas market itself as we ran out of time (spent too long in Starbucks and the Disney Store, LOL)

i live about an hour from bath. the shoppings great. lots of regular stores you'll find in any high street and the xmas markets alot of fun, selling the more unusual items.

Hi All

Just got back from Bath, had a great day and spent LOADS of money. The Christmas market was fab, bought loads of quirky little things as well as spending quite a bit of time going around the conventional stores. I do have to say though I have never seen so many people in one place at one time, but still enjoyed ourselves. The Disney store was great as was the jazz cafe where we had a great lunch.

To be truthful with you Karen I had completed most of my shopping quite a few weeks ago, but just like most of us, I can always find a bit more to buy.

Anyway not long for you now, what time are you picking me up,to put me in your suitcase!!. I'm ready when you are lol.

We went to Bath a few years ago and didn't think that much of the shops - just your general High Street chains, although this was in August, so there was no festive atmosphere and special Christmas events on

We did have a nice lunch at the Litten Tree
