Shopping & Shipping Question

We're doing our 1st trip to DL next week, afterwhich we're doing the DCL Mexican Riviera cruise.

The DW plans on doing some shopping and doesn't want to lug her purchases along with us on the cruise.

Is there a place in DL that will ship the shopping home for us?

Any additional details / ideas appreciated.

Not for sure about that one, but here is an idea. You can get FLAT RATE PRIORITY SHIPPING boxes from the post office. They are already broken down so when you leave tape the box up and mail it. They can be as heavy as you want. It's a great way to ship presents. I am not for sure if you can mail it at DL or you would have to drive to a post office near by. Hopefully someone can help you with that. Have a great trip!

Since you don't pay for the boxes until you ship them, you would have to take them to the post office. Otherwise, a good idea. You can ship items directly from the shops to your home for a fee. If you plan on doing that, try to do as much of your shopping in one or two stores as you have to pay each time.

Disney does offer shipping services. In fact since FAA regulations do not allow for snowglobes, you must ship those if you're flying. The only catch with the shipping is that it may arrive while you're still gone, so I would ship it to an office or something where it will not be merely left on a porch.

You can actually fly with a snowglobe, you just have to put it in your checked bag. They won't allow any size snowglobe in a carry on though!

When I bought my Precious Moment statues the lady was telling me that if they got broke on the plane (or by shipping) they would replace them for free. I thought that was really neat.

If your dw shops like I do you may need to head over to the post office or UPS. I'd probably do UPS, but then again I haven't had a lot of luck with shipping and the post office lately!

make sure to have on the ups place say delivery ON this date) when you know your home or some one is there to get it or say Hold at our local ups office we will pick up.
