shopping on line at walmart.com USA and pick up in store

i wondered if it was possible for Canadians to shop and pick up in the USA store? I tried on line but it wouldn't accept as it kept asking for a USA address. but if i went the Paypal route, it used that and seems to be able to accept the order without asking for my address. I did not go any further as i want to know if this is possible.

Cruiser, when you've done this you pay by paypal? Does Walmart notify you by email that your order is ready?

thank you Cruiser!! Just to confirm, you did do the Paypal? Do you know how far in advance you did it. I want to order early to make sure i have it when i go. I know there is a date range showing, but how long will they hold it. Do they email you after the order is recieved? I thought if i get an email knowing everything is there, then i can make arrangements within a week,, or does it give you a pick up by date!

I've copied part of an e-mail that was sent to me from Wal-Mart after my order was placed:


Thank you for your order. It is currently being processed and we will ship it as soon as possible.
You can keep track of this order's status, from processing through delivery, by visiting My Account.

Free Shipping: Site to Store® Items

1. You will receive another email when your order is ready for pickup (7-10 business days after processing).

2. Print the email. You will need it at the store. (Only one copy per order.)

3. Go to the Site to Store area at your selected Wal-Mart (usually located inside the store at the back) and present your printed email and a valid photo ID.

4. Your items will be held at the store for 21 days. If not picked up within 21 days, the items will be returned to the distributor.

Picking up your items will be quick and easy if you follow these steps:

1. Print this email and bring it with you. If you do not have a printer, copy down your order number.

2. Go to the store's Site to Store pickup area (located inside the store, usually toward the back) and present a valid Photo ID along with either this email or your order number.

3. Sign for your item(s). In addition to your item(s), you will receive a receipt for your records.

You may choose one person, in addition to yourself, to pick up your Site to Store orders. Follow the link provided in the Pickup Details section below to add or edit a pickup person.
