Shopping in the parks

Hi All,

I am doing a quick 1 day trip to Disney and have a long list of items I want to buy. I recall the parks used to do a pick up service where you could pick up your bag at the end of the day. Is this still a thing? Otherwise I will have to leave it all to the end of the day. Any other suggestions for strategic shopping?

Be careful waiting until the end of the day to buy some items.
If you are buying clothing in the larger sizes, those often sell out early in the day.

You might want to get a locker for the days. You could buy and store items there until the end of the day.

I agree with this. I would try and do the shopping earlier in the day, and just get a locker. During the evening and night when people are heading out, they all stop by the shops to do shopping. This makes the lines long, and there's a potential for things to sell out.

It's definitely still a thing at WDW. Not certain as to whether or not Disneyland still offers that service.

I was just told about this while shopping in Disneyland last week (December 19) when I mentioned in one of the stores about not wanting to carry my bag around they said they could hold it for me after purchasing until closing.

Yes they will hold your bags for you until the end of the day.

Good advice above. My DW wanted to buy a certain new travel mug that were all over DL. Since they were so plentiful, we didn't bother picking one up until the end. To our surprise they were almost all gone. We ended up asking a shop on Main Street where a CM went in the back and found 2 were left.
So now we buy stuff as soon as we see it no matter how much there is.
