Shopping in the parks?

We won't be doing much shopping at Disney Springs this trip so I am looking to do a lot of it in the parks, after lunch when the wait times for rides are higher.

What store in each park is your favorite? Any of them have unique items? Which ones not to miss.

Epcot- Mouse Gears
MK - Emporium
DAK- When I was there they were renovating the stores, so shopping sucked.
Hollywood - The kitchen store down Hollywood BLVD.

Rides are at their peaks around noon.

Best time to shop is the hour after the parks close. Stores stay open, you aren't missing park time and the buses just clear out the longer you shop

The stores annoy me to no end for 1 reason, they are always rearranging them. We've gone once a month for this whole year and I'll be dang if they weren't different every time we went! And they have no logic to them. Worse was when they tried by character so you'd go one place for ladies Mickey, another for ladies Princess and another for ladies Star Wars. Hard as heck to find a thing.

I do love to shop the Star Wars store at HS and the Dooney and Vera store at MK (never can remember it's name)
Also, I find myself browsing around in the store back in Pete's Silly Sideshow. And the store on Sunset in HS, across from Planet Hollywood (again I can't remember the name, just know where it is)
I'm not sure I've ever found unique things in any store, aside from Mento Mori. For instance, I don't find items in The Star Wars store at HS that aren't in other stores too but it is nice to be able to look in stores that have fewer choices. It makes it easier to spot things.

We love looking in Art of Disney in Epcot, and also the Dooney/Vera store on Main St. in MK that @AngiTN mentioned. It's killing me that I can't remember the name!!
Momento Mori is so cool :thumbsup2

MouseGears at Epcot is one of my favorites because it sells everything that Disney Springs has, but the store feels so much more open. The layout is perfect. The Emporium at MK always feels crowded even if there is no one in the store.

I also really love the store in Pirates of the Caribbean, they have only pirates themed items. And I love all the shops in AK. The have African themed items. If you put them in your house they wouldn't scream out "Disney" to anyone that saw them. They look like you might've gone to Africa.

I'm not sure what resort you're staying at but some have gift stores. So depending what you need or want you may find it right at your resort. Have a great trip!

I just love to shop around WS in Epcot. Since all those stores close with the park. I shop as I go and get my items delivered to my resort.

Really? I find that to be the worst time to shop because they're packed.
Oh, the stores are busy for sure. But I still prefer to shop and put time between me and the masses leaving at park closing. And I'm not missing out on any rides, etc.

My favourite places to show:

Mitsokushi in Japan
The Puffin's Roost in Norway
The string of inter-connected shops in Germany
Any of the stores along Sunset Boulevard in DHS

I also find that I enjoy these stores because I have had really good Cast Member service/interaction in them.

MK - Goofy's Candy Shop - :cake: I rarely eat this stuff, so when I do I enjoy every last bite

That's all I got. :teeth:
