shopping in Orlando

My DD and I took a taxi last year to the Mall at Millenia and it cost $60 return, a taxi to Orlando Premium outlets about $11 each way and a bus to the Walmart on 192 was $1.25 each way--it was only one bus but it was about 40 minutes. This year my DH is going with us and we're renting a car for a day. I'm going to mapquest the malls we want to do --hotel to mall 1--mall 1-mall2 etc. I think it should work out well. My Dh will do the driving so I'm good. LOL Good luck

I just called Star Taxi Service to ask for an idea how much from CBR to Premium on Vineland - told me around $40-45 EACH WAY!? Whoo! What the heck is that all about? When I asked how much from DTD to Premium, she told me about $30-35 - again, each way.

One more thing--when we took the bus from the Ticket and Transportation Centre to Walmart, the police pulled the bus over and hauled a kid(about 12 years old) off the bus for questioning. Quite the experience!!!!!

Where did you take your taxi from? I don't know why I'm getting info from Star that it's $40-$45 each way!!!!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago, we took a taxi from the taxi stand behind World of Disney to the Orlando Premium Outlets and it cost $10. On the way back we got stuck in some traffic and finally had the guy drop us off across the road from DTD. That leg cost us $11. So $21 round trip. I think maybe next time we might walk across to one of the DTD hotels and take a cab from there. It's annoying to be sitting in traffic and watch that meter tick away!

Tanmar, that taxi agent must have his/her outlet malls mixed up!
