Shopping for Antiques

What are some good places to shop for antiques? My sister and her husband love to look for old silver, copper items and crocks. I love all kinds of antiques. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Sanford is a great little town for antiquing. You'll need transportation, but I believe I counted no less than 12 antique shops in the small downtown area alone.
