Shopping at the Resort

We stayed at POP in 2006 and noticed a 'special' in Everything POP. I can't remember the details, but you had to spend a certain amount, then you could purchase a WDW tote bag for $10. I did and I absolutely love the bag - my favorite souvenir from that trip! My question is this. Does this sort of special go on all the time and, if it does, does anyone know what the current 'deal' is ?

There has always been one of those "specials" you mentioned, every time we've visited WDW.

I too, am curious about the current special.

While we were just there over Christmas, if you spent a certain amount (I think it was $40.00) you could buy a Mickey snowman blanket for $10.00. (Someone here please correct me if I'm wrong about the price). I ended up going home with 4 or 5 of those blankets!

**A few years ago, I got over a half-dozen of those tote bags that you mentioned! They made great gifts for the kids' teachers.

I got the tote bag for $10 deal in Feb. 2007.
Waiting at the gate for our plane home, I saw several others with the "deal" bag.
We ended up giving it to DBF's mom. Wish I had bought two, it was a very nice bag.

We were just there this past week, came home on Sunday. All the stores throughout WDW had the bag for $10 deal.

We have seen watches, blankets, photo books, bags on the special sale list...cannot wait to see what is the sale item the next time we go

the tote bag 2 years ago, I love it and the blanket this winter, it gets used a lot, I wish I had bought more..

We went in March and they were giving the blue and white disney bags out for the promotion at the resorts. I wasn't thrilled with it and didn't get it. While in DTD for the last day I went to pay for my things and they had a crochet mickey mouse blanket that was brown and black. On each corner of the blanket it had the symbol of each park at WDW. I got it instead and was so happy I love it and everytime the kids and I use it we remember our time at WDW.

On every trip I've made they've offered some type of special purchase. I bought the snowman throw last November. Would love to find a cool tote bag.
