Shopping and shipping to resort

When is the last time you can shop and then have things shipped to your resort so you don't have to carry them around? For instance, you are leaving on Friday, can you still have things sent on Thursday and is there a deadline time to have this done?

If I am remembering correctly, they say that your items will be delivered to your resort by 2PM the next day. So if you are leaving on Friday, you shouldn't buy things for resort delivery on Thursday unless you are going to be able to pick them up after 2pm.

You can always have things sent to the front of the park instead. I think those things would be ready for pickup either 3 or 4 hours after you purchase them.

There is also something about needing to purchase 3 hours before park close for next day delivery too. We were really close to this one night but we're told it was in time....and turns out the cashier was wrong. Our item just made it TWO days later to the hotel gift shop at 10 am where I picked it up directly since we were leaving on a plane in a half hour. I wouldn't recommend doing package pickup at the end of a trip.

Well, we would be checking out Friday morning, having the luggage held and going to EPCOT til about 4pm and then going back to resort to get luggage so we could ship and pick up when we got back on Friday? I want to get some things at the F&G on Thursday but don't want to lug them around
