ShopDisney and Canadian Guests

Hi everyone -

Not sure where else to post this - but hoping I can get some help from my Canadian Dis friends.
I've recently had some major issues with ShopDisney[dot]com - ordering from ShopDisney is a bit of a pain for us north of the border (shipping charges are the same as the items sometimes), and now I've run into an issue.
I recently made an order on ShopDisney and was sent the wrong size in a sweatshirt. I contacted ShopDisney customer service on March 26th - and after getting the run around and having a lot of frustrating email exchanges (lots of automated emails sent addressing me by the wrong name, saying the issue has been resolved when it hasn't been), I still haven't gotten a replacement, my money back, or the e-card merchandise credit that I was told I'd be receiving two weeks ago.

Has anyone else had this many issues with ShopDisney? If so - how did you get it resolved?
I had a manager phone me last week (I can't call because they don't have a toll free number) and she essentially spent 30 minutes on the phone with me trying to convince me that a suitable replacement would be a spirit jersey that I don't actually want - my original sweatshirt I had ordered is now unavailable.

I'm now incredibly frustrated and still out my original payment amount. I would just love anyone's advice on what my next steps could be.

That sounds incredibly frustrating and unfortunately I don’t have any advice. I’ve only made one purchase from shopDisney and never will again. A $24USD backpack ended up costing me just over $100 CDN after exchange, shipping and COD for duties and taxes. It’s an adorable backpack but not $100 adorable.

Out of curiosity, when you returned the sweatshirt did you have to pay shipping or was it free shipping on returns? Did you have to pay shipping and are expected to pay COD tax and duty on the replacement?

I checked out ShopDisney when it first switched over. I had a coupon code and everything. After I got everything in the cart and went to checkout, I burst out laughing and cancelled it all! Aside from the merch, it was $70CAD (plus customs fees) to ship some TsumTsums! *giggles*
