Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

Not dumb questions!! At least you ask and then I can take Soleil's words of wisdom and run with them. If I actually asked her all the fashion questions I have we'd never make it to Disney LOL!!

Thanks!!! I've been at home for so long and as much as I try to stay up on things, I sometimes wonder about how I'm doing!!:goodvibes

Same here Kristen!! My son is about to be 13, so I have been at home way longer than you! Ha! That just means I am more behind the times than you are!! I love all the fashion tips we get here!! I am waiting for Dillards to get more Uggs in my size......I should make a phone call this very day!!!

Just thought I would let you camo girls know I just went to the Dillards site for Uggs, and they have uggs in Camo!! Can you believe it? They are cute, but I am not into camo, but I know some of you like it!!! gotta see it!

Thanks!! Now most of my jeans are bootleg...do you buy more straight leg ones to wear with them? You can tell I've been a SAHM for 6 years!! LOL!! Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions!!

Yes, you will need straight leg jeans. You can find them anywhere and for any price these days. Old Navy has some great pairs. They are not hoochie jeans. I think you will like them.:goodvibes

Jen, feel free to ask any question at any time.:goodvibes It keeps me busy until January.

When the kids are at school on Thursday, I'm off to Old Navy!! Thanks!! :goodvibes

Temporarily hijacking thread Warning!!!

In my (very biased) opinion, Old Navy has THE best jeans! (I've worked there for over a year). I would go with our skinny jeans if you're looking to tuck them into your Uggs. I have the Classic Tall Uggs in black and my skinny jeans look great tucked into them. Sometimes, I'll wear my boot cut or flared jeans over my Uggs and they still look good. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your help! My issue is I'm not so sure my body will fit into "skinny" jeans......after having three babies, I wouldn't consider me Skinny anymore.....I've got lots of curves and wear a 10 (just lost 15 lbs. and heading for 10 more, may fit into an 8)...so not sure they would fit me???? Any other suggestions?Sorry, Soleil, for hijacking your thread!!!:flower3:

Kristen, try the jeans at Old Navy, if they aren't what you are looking for try some from Gap. I believe that they still have the Curvy Jeans. I have some (not curvy) but I forgot which ones--the Curvy ones were out of my size/length when I went last time. My hubby just took me a couple of weeks ago to Buckle--great jeans!!! They are a little pricier than O.N. or Gap. I tried American Eagle, but man, they were too low for me to be comfortable with.

Thanks....I'll give them a try!! I have big plans this week...I'll be a new woman by the weekend!! LOL!! :rotfl: I'm getting there with my weight and body....slowly but surely.....the baby is 16 months and I just finished nursing him a bit ago so finally reclaiming what is left of this bod. If I only knew what I had when I had it......:rotfl:

Again, sorry, Soleil for taking over your thread!!!:upsidedow

By skinny I don't just mean skin-tight or for skinny people. :goodvibes I just meant the cut at the bottom of the jeans. :goodvibes

If you try and tuck flare legs in, it will bunch up and bother you. Just look for a pair you like with a tapered leg. You will look like a hot mama!

BTW...I would love some curves. Send them over my way! I've got chicken legs.

Great pre-trip! I arrived on the recommendation of the one and only AG Princess.
