Shop Smart - how does it work??

Have seen this mentioned a bit but still not sure how it works. We will probably use it as I seen someone say they wrap the baubles better

Do they leave your purchases back at Hotel Reception? Do many people use it?

I've used at DLRP and WDW and it is really worth as you dont need to carry your bags around all day, especially when you have bought a breakable!

You just request it when your purchase something and fill in a little form and then its sent on ist way to your hotel or disney village.

We use it a lot, they deliver your purchases to the hotel shop for you to pick up later. You are given a receipt you use when you pick your good up.

Very sound advise - we've made that mistake more than once and they've often got a little stroppy with us for forgetting

Yes, a very good point, we've seen it happen several times when guests didn't realise and the CMs have to refund everything then start all over again.

I use it a lot, especially if it's for fragile items like Christmas decorations or bulky items to save carrying them around. There is a cut-off time for same day delivery, I can't remember what it is, maybe 3pm?? If you use the service after this time delivery will be the next day.,

Do you know if this service also applies to photos taken at the booth inside the studios?
Just thought it might be nice to get a pic of DD on her b/day but early in the day - while we are still fresh, lol - but then not to have to worry about either bringing it back to the hotel or to keep it straight while carrying it around on the rides.

Yeah cut off time is 3pm although after that they will offer to hold it at the shop for you for collection before park closing time.

I have seeen it used for ride photos so I can't see why not.
