Thanks Mark. This is the lens I am going to be getting and I think you responded when I asked about it, but your pictures say far more than any verbal advice!

Of course, I have way more to learn to take anywhere close to the pictures you do.

Also, I LOVE your blog. Very informative. Now, for those of us who are more visual/tactile learners, could you put together some online video classes so we could learn from you? Maybe some on-location learning type videos?????

Thanks for the compliment. Those pictures were taken on a couple of different trips with a couple of different cameras. The older shots were taken with a Canon 1D Mark II. The newer ones were taken with a Canon 5D Mark II. Most of the shots were taken with a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens, which is one of the cheapest lenses that Canon makes. Most of the others were taken with a Canon 24-70 f/2.8.

thanks Dawn. That's right along the lines of what I was thinking of doing. I saw toy cars that looked like the Splash Mountain logs with Brer Bear, Rabbit and Fox in them last time we were there. I may try to pick some up to use on the cake!
