Apparently the shooter is in custody.

I read that Police Officer was shot and shooter has been caught.

Now it says, shooter shot and caught and one bystander injured.

Saying now White House wings were closed as a precaution and there are questions about exactly what happened with shooting at Capitol. Reporters seem frustrated with conflicting reports.

The report I heard is that a female bystander was hit by shrapnel. The shooter started shooting when he could not get through the metal detector. Someone tried to jump the fence at the White House. No evidence the two are related.

Local news in Nashville say the shooter is from here. There have been other disturbances caused by this guy.

Apparently this man, Larry Russell Dawson, made a video saying that he was going to Washington to advocate for raising the minimum wage. Somehow this is not the way to go about that or any other issue.
