Where did/is everyone getting their shoes from? I am having the hardest time finding a pair that I like. Ugh.

I kinda found mine by accident. I was looking for shoes to go with a dress I was going to wear to a wedding last month. Found a great pair on clearance at Nine West...only $30!! When I tried them on at the store, I realized they would totally work for the wedding too! So I was pumped :woohoo:

I actually ended up with the shoes I tried on dresses with.

I had worn them for nearly 3 hours and I was surprised at how comfortable they were.
I went for a pretty high heel though since DF is 6'2 and I'm a tiny 5'3 compared to him, I wanted to try and bridge the gap a little bit.

I also had a really, really hard time finding shoes, too!! I was going to Nordstrom's and DSW (my two favorite shoe stores) almost once a week. (My mom bought hers online from nordstrom's.) And I tried lots of other stores, too. Then a friend told me about zappos.com -- free, very fast shipping and free shipping on returns! Great selection, too! I'm a big fan. Unfortunately, my fat feet weren't cooperating with the shoes I found there that I liked. In the end, I got mine at Neiman Marcus.

That's so funny - I also got my shoes on clearance at Nine West ($20) and everyone told me they had never heard of a bride getting her shoes there. I also wore white detailed flip flops to my reception - I got those at Kohl's (They are Candie's) for $9. DH just wonders why all of my shoes can't be that inexpensive.. :rotfl:

I intend to wear flip flops to the reception (possibly ballet flats for the ceremony so people can't hear the clacking when i walk down the aisle!). I am already about .5 inch taller than my DF!!!! If I wore heels i'm afraid it'd just look silly! So why not be comfy?! :confused3

I wore my flip flops the whole time. No one had any idea.

I have a nice pair of heels that I got from a ladies fashion store here in the UK and I plan to wear something like the mary jane sketchers that I have seen a few brides on here wear. Mine were also a bargin at £25 which is around $50

I had a really hard time finding the kind of shoe I wanted. I wanted a close toed shoe with the strap that goes around the ankle. I wasn't able to find anything until I visited my MOH. I found them in Wells, England.

I just bought mine today at DSW for $36.00

My sister in law decorates sneakers for weddings with lace and pearls etc.
I bought a pair of comfy keds and she's using extra fabric from my dress to decorate the shoes. She's also making shoes for all my bridesmaids - adding pink accents to match their dresses.
I plan to wear the sneaks the whole time - my DF is only a hair taller than me so I dont want to wear heels!
