shoes!

I'm wearing bright orange flip-flops to match my bouquet I hate wearing heels! In fact, I never do. I just want to be comfortable!

I wanted to wear flip flops too since that's all I live in around here and it's going to be July in FLORIDA! However, I'm afraid when I walk down the aisle you will hear flip...flop...flip...flop...flip...flop

Has anyone worn them and had a problem? I know we won't be walking that fast, but still

I need something comfy since my day will go from 11:00am-10:00pm once we add in the dessert party. Granted I could take them off in between, but I also have the tall issue!

I also wanted flats because DH is only a couple inches taller than me (at best), and I wanted comfortable shoes (I wear sneakers every day!), so I bought a pair of mary jane-type shoes from Skechers. No one noticed, until my mom told people I was wearing sneakers and everyone wanted to see them! Everyone thought it was great, though! Randy got some great pictures of them!

Those sketchers are so cute! You must have been more comfortable than I was! Mine were only one inch heels...but my feet were super sore by the middle of the reception!

I'm wearing high top black converse...I'm usually comfy wearing heels, but I don't want to be thinking about foot pain at any point during the day...and we're already going so unconventional with everything else (my wedding dress is burgundy) I figured why not go all out...and I think it will make for some cute pictures that show our personality...

Didn't really find any bridal shoes that I liked to go with my dress. Since my dress was ivory and gold I ended up getting a soft gold shimmery shoe from Dillard's:

I wore satin ivory flip flops with crystals. I got married at SBP - I so recommend comfy shoes as you do ALOT of walking!

I am planning on wearing Ballet Slippers for my wedding, IF I can find them in my size...I wear a 13 in Women's and I want flats because my DF is 6'0" and I am 6'2". At least for that day he'll be taller than me.

After reading the other people talk about Nike's (Eeyore3838 - I used to have those shoes you wore too), I might do that if I can't find any others, but all my Nike's make me taller - that's not what we want for that day - although it would be comfortable!

I was getting really stressed about finding shoes! And then...last night... I went to Macys and found these Steve Madden, "Tillary" ballet, ankle-strap (with ties up the ankle) flats. On the website, it shows them in white, but I bought them in a soft satin-metallic platinum-gold. So beautiful and graceful, and sooo comfortable! Wheeee!

A friend who recently was married wore (and I kid you not) blue Crocs under her dress! She didn't want to be taller than her husband so flats were a must and she liked the irrevency of Crocs with a wedding gown! They were the Mary Jane style.

You couldn't see the Crocs at all and they were her "something blue" and she was comfortable the whole day.

Wedding Crocs are not for everyone, but this really fit her personality.

I got mine at DSW, but when I went to try my dress on at David's Bridal, I noticed that they had them there too!
