What kind of shoes do you wear when you go to Disney? :confused3
I need some help for my upcomming trip!
I'm going July 6th-13th, so they will have to withstand the rain.

Last year we went about the same time and I wore crocs, they were okay but they got really slippery in the rain and my feet got all yucky wearing them, plus i get blisters where they rub against my skin. What about flip-flops? I want to wear flip-flops but wont they hurt your feet from all the walking? Oh and i absolutly hate wearing sandals (like the ones with the open toes and the straps that go across your feet, those kinds) So i dont have much of an option, but if they are cute and nice feeling i may give sandals a try...

Can someone help me on this subject?

Thanks!

What I do when I go to Disney is bring 2 pairs of shoes. When your feet start to hurt in one, change em. It works too.

if you want to wear flip flops look into a pair of teva's, they are pretty awesome...if i know i'm going to be doing a ton of walking then i wear tennis shoes otherwise i wear teva's

I stick with the good ol' Old Navy flip flops in the summer. They get slippery when they are wet, like the crocs, but they hold up really well for any weather. Your feet will hurt more though since there's no cushioning. My feet can't stand being in sneakers in the summer, they are too uncomfortable and too hot.

I do bring down a pair incase my feet really start to hurt. I bring a pair of running shoes that are super comfy.

I like to wear cheap Old Navy flip flops. They're just incredibly comfortable to me, and I live in them in the summer. If you're not used to flip flops, then don't wear them.

I take crocs, but I rarely wear them. I have narrow-ish feet and they're a little too wide to be comfortable for me.

I also take good athletic shoes. Nike, New Balance, Adidas, etc.

I don't suggest flip flops.
I wore my most comfortable pair of shoes(my converse) and my feet didn't hurt.

we are the same way, the crocks really rub our feet, so we were forced to wear running socks with them, I know, really gauche!

We discovered that lands' end has a "wet water" type of tennis shoe, it has a full toe and heel and has "panels" that are cut out for water dranage. they wear like a tennis shoe, and are great without socks. we take two pair, it one gets wet, we let them dry and just switch shoes at the hotel.

Plus they have several other styles.

I've never been to Disney during the summer, but I would just wear your most comfortable pair of flip flops.

Tennis shoes just seem like they'd be too hot, and if you're going on water rides it would take too long to dry, and your feet would probably start to smell.

i usually alternate between tennis shoes and my trusty flip flops :goodvibes

Well, first of all, DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS! They have ZERO arch support and that is extremely bad for your feet. I usually wear running shoes or crocs when I go. I will occasionally wear flip flops, but only when I am returning to a park after dinner somewhere else or I'm at a water park.

I wear flip flops all summer (and at Disney), and my feet are fine. They're comfortable to me.

I think you should do what's comfortable for you. :)

If you feel most comfortable in flip flops, wear 'em! I know I do, and I wouldn't hesitate to wear them. However, the key is not wearing them all day, every day.
Make sure you have a good trusty pair of running sneakers/tennies/trainers/whatever.

I'm an overpacker and always have 3+ pairs of shoes: a pair of sneakers, my crocs, and flip-flops. Sometimes I'll bring my slides too.

I wear trainers or ballet pumps.
Whatever is comfortable and doesn't rub your feet is good.
xD

Most days I wear New Balance tennis shoes, when I do less walking I wear Teva sandals.

Well my parents won't allow me to wear anything but sneakers in the parks.
We are the go go go type of people, we're always walking. I know personally, no matter how much I wear flip flops, they would be bad for me in Disney. After a while, they tend to chafe against the side of my foot and give me nasty blisters that pop and bleed and scab over. They also blisters inbetween my toes, and after a few day the inbetween of my toes becomes itchy as heck.

Converse are good, but they tend to blister my heels when I walk in them, and they're so FLAT on my feet.

Flats, that's just crazy for me, I get tired of standing on my feet after 4 hours at work, they hurt SO bad and I'm not even walking.

So basically, I always wear sneakers. I usually get some Adidas or some Puma's and they work well. Yes, your feet get warm, take a break every once and a while to air them out. Yes they do get wet on rides, and it's disgusting. I've had to deal with it, but it's not too much worse than being soaked down to your underwear. I learned to deal with it.

I ordered some landsend watershoe things, they look nice, thanks for your help!

I usually wear flip-flops, basketball shoes, or skate shoes. Depending on how hot it is outside. But my flip-flops are the most comfortable ones ever...vans makes them and they are padded
