Okay, I think I've finally settled on my plans to visit DLP for a day during my whirlwind European trip. But given the weather and the fact that a full day at a Disney park is hard on the feet, I want to be sure to bring shoes that aren't going to make my feet sore (especially since I'll have 3 more days in Paris afterward). I almost always wear mary-jane style Crocs at WDW in Florida but I'm thinking that I will stick out like a sore thumb if I wear those at DLP. :) What is the normal footwear? I am NOT wearing my trainers (even though I'm packing them for morning jogs). Dansko clogs? (assuming it's cool enough, which I think it will be) Birkenstocks and dark socks? (that's what I see many Europeans wear in cooler weather at WDW, so I don't know if that's the "done thing")

Any help our guidance would be greatly appreciated. :goodvibes

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't matter what you wear on your feet for around the park.

I wear my crocs all the time and will definately be wearing them for my 4 day trip to DLP that starts tomorrow. I may even end up wearing my Georgie boots, and I get some really funny looks for them, even at home. As long as you are comfortable, no-one will care!;)

I'd agree with sid - no-one will even notice what you're wearing on your feet at DLRP :) . My daughter detests the mule-type shoes I wear there in warmer weather, she thinks they are the ugliest things in the world, but they are comfy and I can (and do) walk miles in them while we're there.

In cooler weather, I wear walking boots.

I brought some cheap snow boots off of ebay for our drip last month, but next time I go will be definately using my crocs, I live in my crocs everyday, if it comes to it I will wear them with socks and my baggy boyfriend fit jeans to hid the backs lol.

I love the title of your post :goodvibes I have to admit I wore my crocs in the summer, lovely and comfy and no funny looks and I wore my ugg boots in October .. these; however, did attract some funny looks especially from some of the characters who pointed and pretended to laugh !! I did buy some snowjoggers to take but stuck to my ugg's due to comfort factor. I'd say don't worry about what things look like, as long as they are comfortable and keep your feet warm and dry that's what counts. Enjoy your trip !!!!

..... mary-jane style Crocs .......Dansko clogs? ......... Birkenstocks and dark socks?

I don't even know what these things mean :rotfl2:

Whatever they look like, my answer would be the same though - wear what will make you comfy for a looooooong day in the Park. :goodvibes

I've never worn anything other than my Crocs when I've been there and will be doing the same next time as well!

I agree ~ wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I wear Athens crocs, trainers or walking boots according to the weather and time of year. In Paris too, wear whatever feels comfortable. :)
