Crocs, comfortable sandals. SOmething with support.

The first year we stayed I bought a good pair of "walking" sneakers with a famous name figuring they would be perfect. One day at the parks and my feet were killing me :scared: !!!! The rest of the time I wore my beat up old moccasins and no socks, the ones I use for fishing. No problems! Moral of the story; Take WELL broken in shoes you're used to, not brand new ones.

If you have a pair of shoes that fit you like a glove, take those, you'll be glad you did:thumbsup2 !

Easter @ CSR  5 days and counting:cool1:

Keens!! Comfortable, waterproof, cooler than tennis shoes (temp wise)! Everyone in our family got a pair for our next trip!! :cool1:

I just looked up KEENS and they are some $$ and that's fine unless you are on a budget. I might get those for my husband and son because they are so darn picky but my 3 yr old daughter and I are wearing our crocs :)

They can be, but I got mine and DH's on ebay for about 1/2 the price. My kids' I bought look-a-likes at Famous Footwear for about $20 a piece. Sorry, I should have including that info in the first post!

I've had good luck with products by keen and merrell. I'm going to try out some chacos and crocs on the upcoming trip. I also bought some ecco mary jane like shoes that I've been breaking in. I am simply in love with those.

Last year, I made the mistake of putting fashion before comfort and all of my cute pairs of sandals gave me many blisters. I was hobbling more than my 82 year-old MIL by the end of the trip. This year I wore Easy Spirit sneakers with no-sweat socks and I was fine the whole trip. Not one blister.

Another vote for Keens. My heels are always sore from hours of standing on the job and it's such a joy to put my Keens on after work :)

I bought some Ecco Mary Jane style shoes for our upcoming Disney trip. They are so comfortable  . The first time I wore them I went to the mall and walked around about 4 hours. They were very comfortable and I didn't get any blisters at all. They don't feel like they even need to be broken in. I liked the style because it's open and cooler than a gym shoe but more substance and support than a sandal. I liked them so much I bought this pair and a pair in black. The nice thing is that the heel strap is adjustable as well as the strap that goes across the top of your foot so you can create a custom fit with these.

I tried a pair on today. They were $90. They felt great in the store but so don't Teva Mush and Crocs which are much less. My last trip to WDW I wore my Teva Mush, Croc sandles which are better than walking shoes but my ankles hurt a bit. Thought I would try something new. Are Keens that much better? Thanks

I packed 2 pairs of comfortable tennis shoes( my nike shox, and my nike backless shoes). I didn't use them. I wore my OLD NAVY flip flops the whole time. Not one blister!

Thanks for the tip! I love Ecco and I have never seen this style. Where do you get these? Thanks!

I buy these things from land's end that look sort of like water shoes but they are tennis shoes and are mesh on the top. Sorry I an not much help but go to their site and look around theri athletic sandals are awesome as well.

I'm going to give another vote for Keens. They're airy, they absorb the pressure that I put on my heels very well AND when they get sopping wet on any of the water rides they air out in about 5 minutes if that long! Sometimes I feel they're worth it for that alone. :)

I have some ECCO sandals that I LOVE! They can be dressy if you are going somewhere nice, or casual. Teva's are good too- I am guessing you are going this summer? You want a shoe that will be okay getting wet- they usually have daily short rains.

This might be sort of off topic, but I know for us take an extra pair of shoes. For us it was the wet tennis shoes, which was not fun, but now everyone has two pair of shoes, because you just never know.

I didn't even know they made shoes called Keens. Keen is my maiden name. hahahaha
