I live in my TOMS, almost everyday, they are beyond comfortable! I bought a pair of regular sneakers just for the trip, but now I'm wondering if I should have just bought a few more pairs of TOMS (much cheaper than the sneakers!).

Just wondering if anybody has worn them at the parks and how they felt at the end of the day?

I am a major TOMS enthusiast! I will wear nothing else these days. The only think I would recommend is to bring some Odor Eaters spray or powder (or the store brand equivalent) because with the heat sometimes TOMS get stinky :)

I just bought my first pair of TOMS today, and after I bought them, I thought, "I wonder if these would be good for Disney?" Someone read my mind! :lmao: I hope they're comfortable and have the arch support I need, they're MUCH cuter than my sneakers! I also have Birk sandals... so I'd probably bring those too.

Side note: how long does it take them to dry if you go on a water ride? That's my biggest sneaker pet peeve - squishing around in wet shoes!

I have three pairs of TOMS and I absolutely LOVE them. However, I'm not sure I'd wear them to Disney. I don't like wearing closed-toe shoes with no socks for extended periods of walking. I would worry about my feet sweating and also blisters.

I wore 2 pairs of TOMS in October while I was there. I wore each pair every other day. I prefer wearing them over sneakers because they're light weight. Also, I don't remember having any problems with blisters or squishing around in them after getting them wet for too long. They dried fairly quickly in the Florida heat. Like stated before some type of Odor Eater would probably be best, no one enjoys smelly TOMS. And you have to remember at the end of the day, no matter what your feet will hurt! It's Disney! :cool1:

+1

I did the alternating pair thing when we went on a recent trip to Italy. Talk about a lot of walking! I didn't notice any blister problems (just make sure to break them in first) but your feet do sweat. Alternating shoes and using odor eaters solves that, though.

I went wdw last year and my feet were so sore I could hardly walk on my last few days... Then I put my TOMS on... Holy double comfort... I've gone a brought a new pair ready for my trip in October :-) :cool1::thumbsup2

I was going to ask this question. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We are a TOMS family. We have Toms already broken into. So I think I will bring two pairs of tom (very light to pack) and my Aldo slippers.

Thank you for everyone's input. :cool1:

I think Toms would be great. I have walked long distances in mine and been fine. I would be careful about getting them too wet, though, because I think that tends to mess up the footbed.

I took expensive Nike shoes thinking they would be the best and they killed my feet. I ended up switching to Tom's halfway through and they were perfect!

I never believed when people said how comfortable Toms are in the parks until I wore my first pair to Disney last year. I have two pairs of Disney painted Toms that I have just for my trips and I love them! I brought sneakers too and wore the Toms more than anything. They were seriously the most comfortable thing for me and I am not one who can just wear a regular pair of flats or flip flips in the parks.. I have to wear yoga mat flip flops so that my feet won't be burning by the end of that day. Toms are seriously great and comfy! :thumbsup2

I wore Toms during our Christmas trip last year and they were awesome. We are here now and I can't wear them this trip....it's too hot and my feet swell and sweat in this much heat and humidity. During December they were great though!

My friend wore hers last trip and didn't complain about them, but she also lives in them. I might try mine out this year but bring a change of shoes just in case.

Also for everyone whose worried about sweating, I don't know if you can get these where you live, but when I bought mine the girl in the store suggested these insoles made for shoes that you wear without socks. I've noticed a difference when I wear them, granted the insoles are disgusting looking now as they were white but no one sees them anyways :rotfl:

I always wear my TOMS whenever I go to the parks. I don't like wearing sneakers ever, especially when I know I'm walking a lot. The only time I ever get blisters is when the shoes aren't completely worn in.

I have worn Tom's in the parks, just make sure they are broken in and you should be good!

I wanted to know this too! I hate runners, detest them, never wear them. I always wear more casual shoes (live in my clarks)... so was hoping to get a pair of Toms and break them in over the next little bit to take down there in January. Now question, is it faux pas to wear socks with them if we have some really cool mornings/nights? LOL

Costco has Keds no show socks - I think it's a 6 pack for $10. I can't stand to wear my Toms without socks, and these are the best that I've found. They have the little rubber piece on the heel so they don't slip off, and the bottoms are slightly cushy.
