Shoe experts! Help!

I'm thinking they're cute, but worrying they might be trashy...help! I'm sooo not a fashionista, so don't care if they're IN or not. Just don't wanna look like a tramp.

Now this "grandma" word keeps popping up. I'm not a fashionista. Don't wear the clunky shoes, or the strappy ones, or anything that shimmers. Plenty for me in tennis shoes and dress shoes, but not much in the middle (casual stuff.)

But, "grandma?!" Not what I'm going for, either. SC Minnie is right, I'm thinking with jeans or white capris.

Do you want a flat/non-opened toe? I understand that you don't want high-heels and/or strappy/shimmery. No problem, but are you set on a closed toe?

I don't think theyare grandma-ish, more "preppy with jeans or capris"-ish. Like, something you might wear to go out to lunch with friends on a saturday, or to a family picnic.

YUP! Holes are OK, but sandals, sadly, are out.

OK. Well, honestly I think that flat/closed toed shoes are the hardest to find. That said, I think your best bet is a nice ballet flat. They are IN and springy and youthful. PLUS you can find them in most places.
