shoe bag organizers

I purchased a shoe bag to place over the door in the bathroom and was wondering if the door has a hook or do I need to bring my own.

I'm a first timer but I've read a couple times about people taking hooks on suction cups (like 4/$1 at Walmart). I'm going to take some just in case. I figure those hooks might be handy for bathing suits and other things too. It's not something that takes up much space if I don't need it so I'm going to take some just in case.

There was a hanger on our door but I preferred the suction cup hooks since I didn't want the shoe bag banging around every time the door was opened and closed. The wall over the commode in our sideways cat 11 was tile and we go very good suction on the hooks so hung the shoe bag there.

Our over the door nager came with three or four metal hooks that fit over the top of the door. We just used those.

when i went on my last cruise, there weren't hooks on the doors, but there are more shoe organizers for $1 at the Dollar Store, bargains, bargains, bargains!

Our over the door shoe hanger came with 2 hooks that fit over the top of the door and worked nicely---except when you wanted to close the door all the way. The door would close, but I have to admit the hooks scraped against the frame of the doorway and scratched some paint off. I bet no one would notice except someone else using the same setup!

We used the supplied hooks also and didn't have any trouble.

Mine came with the hooks for the top of the door, plus there is a tie that can go around the doorknob to keep the organizer from making noise when you closed the door.

Ours came with 3-metal hooks that went over the bathroom door - they were thin enough that they did not scrape and you could close the door completely.

We also took those hanging clips - they are like clothes-pins only the also have the "hanger" part like from a clothes hanger. We used the to hang swimsuits to dry in the shower and it worked well, plus made it easier to move when someone needed to shower than if we had used just regular clothespins.
