Hello all. Ok, so we have a family trip coming up and I have seen plenty of people around the World with specially made T-shirts. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions on where I can find a place to get these made? I know there is a store at DTD, however, I'd like to have them before so that we can wear them on the plane and for our first day. TIA and hope everyone is having a Magical Day!!

Try on Etsy. I got some cute ones for the kids for our trip last year and then some Christmas shirts for Christmas this year. I'm planning on getting one for DD for our trip for her birthday but I haven't been able to decide yet. There are lots of choices.

I too have had success on Etsy - and if you're the crafty type there's a great selection of custom made designs right here on the board to print and iron transfer to shirts. :goodvibes

I did this for my DS's first visit in 2010. I ordered regular shirts from Disney.com but was able to personalize the back. So we were "That Family" for a day. DH was very reluctant.

Did DH put you up to that? I find it especially humorous that your a Donald fan...as is my DH.

Sorry, no he didn't! But I think him being a fan of Donald Duck says a lot! Is se also stubborn, moody, grouchy, unbending, and a buzz-kill.... That is how my wife describes me.... I think she is way off! ;)

You can make your own tye dye shirt or freezer paper shirts. It's pretty easy.

I used zazzle.com for our last trip - they have lots of licensed Disney designs and you can totally customize everything. The turn-around time is also incredibly quick - I think I had the shirts in hand in less than a week after I ordered them.

Way off is she... :rolleyes1

I'm sure she was CrazyDuck! Now DSIL is thinking it's "cheesy" but I think they're wrong. I think if we find tasteful shirts, everyone can deal for a day. Guess if the other grown ups won't play along, then I'll just get shirts for my Dniece and nephew!

We have always have fun wearing matching shirts. Some years I've bought Disney shirts from the Disney store and had them printed locally. In Jan DH and I made tie-dye Mickey shirts at HHI, so those will come with to WDW in May.

I make our shirts from the designs from the CreativeDiSigners her on a DisBoard. Choose your design, and I buy Avery drk tee iron ons. I buy tee shirts from

http://www.jiffyshirts.com

I am a plus size, so Etsy and the others don't come large enough for me. Not only is it a family tradition to have at least two shirts that are matching per trip, but the photos that we take (or have taken) are the best!

For the love of Mickey, I can't seem to figure out how to get over there. I've head of it but can't find the DISign boards. Can you point me in the right direction? Zazzle is a bit pricey for 7 shirts and my DH is more Pooh size than Donald size and he usually needs a larger tshirt because he can't anything that's "tight"....:confused3

Go to the forum menu (or Forum Jump at the bottom of this page), scroll to the bottom and you'll see Creative DISigns several rows up from the bottom. These wonderful people have created TONS of Disigns and will personalize for you for free, all you have to do is print it on transfer paper and put it on your shirt or whatever. Prepare to spend a LOT of time on that board!! :goodvibes

I have gotten several designs made up for me by marion on the disdesigns board. She is extremely fast and her designs are awesome. I save the designs to my pics folder on my computer and then go to vistaprint and upload the image for the shirt and order from them since it's not that expensive and I can get the exact design I want without settling for a standard design. I tried going the iron on route but it just didn't work at all, I followed all the directions but just couldn't get the whole design on the shirt

Thanks Kpal and Ariel! I'm going to check them out after I get my munchies for the game started.

Eww.... Don't be "that family"! :crazy2:

:rotfl2: We are definately one of those family. We started with Iron on shirts and upgraded when I purchased my embroidery machine. I had custom shirts/outfits for all 14 days of our trip last year and planning on new ones for this trip.:goodvibes

I just love when everyone is Matchy Matchy:cloud9:
