We are going on a Disney cruise and later a trip to Disney and I love either doing my own transfer shirts or having embroidered ones made. Worried by 9 year old boy will think they are too babyish, so was curious if anyone else does them for their boys? I was thinking of pirate mickey and start wars but leaving off the name on his? Thoughts?

Without seeing the actual shirts - and knowing your son - it's impossible to say. Why don't you just ask him?

He doesn't know we are going on the cruise but I may ask my husband his opinion.

My DS7 will wear some Star Wars shirts at this point, but nothing with Mickey and the gang on them. Without spoiling the surprise could you show him some images or shirts online and ask him what he thinks?

We found a Pirate themed one...nothing with his name...that works!

DS will be 9 next month and just this Summer I have seen a huge change in clothes and his having an opinion. So sad that mickey will not cut it any more. He loves star wars and will gladly wear that. Now older DS is 23 and will, and has always been glad to wear Mickey, so yes it does depend on the kid!!!

He will wear Mickey just ones we buy at Disney and not ones that are fun and cute off Etsy!
