Thanks! We are having a Wishes wedding. I love Shipwreck Beach and the fact that the Boardwalk is in the background, but I hadn't heard of it being used as a ceremony location, so we just requested it and they said we could have it there. We are only going to have about 30-35 guests, so space should not be a problem. If you are interested, I would definitely request it.
We are having our wedding 5/5/12 on the Croquet Lawn because they told us they weren't offering any beach locations anymore- (DF has always had his heart set on a beach ceremony) I'll have to ask again!
Where are you having your reception? We were still able to get Ariel's for ours. Let us know if you were able to get your ceremony location switched!

I will definitely let you know!! We are having the reception in the Boardwalk ballrooms, we are doing light gray/light pink/white and the Ariel colors don't really fit into that for us without doing a lot of decorating! I put a call into our coordinator today and if she says no I'm still going to ask during our hopeful PS (we are going down for our regular vacation the first week of October and hoping to do the PS then too) I'll definitely let you know!
Good luck!! I don't see any reason why you couldn't have it there unless it has already been reserved. I do know the beach is reserved for some kind of conference event or something later in the day after our wedding. I love the Boardwalk ballrooms! That will be beautiful! We are using aqua blue, hot pink, and (probably) some shade of green as our colors, so Ariel's was perfect for us.
