shipping to csr extra fee?

we want to ship down a box of goodies for our trip in may, i remember reading somewhere that if it is shipped via ups there is an extra fee to pick it up at csr, does anyone know what the fee is? thanks

Not really - I went thru all the pages & couldn't find it. One person thought $10 - $15. I did then link to the water thread from that one though. On that one someone paid $10 to have something delivered to CSR. However, hours were very limited on picking it up so they didn't get it first day - had to go next day to get I guess. On that one they paid $10 however that was 4/2010 - may have gone up since then.

They have a tiered pricing structure - it is posted on the wall of the package pick up area and is broken up into small, medium, and large sized packages. I paid $3 for a package they designated as "small." I don't remember the prices for the others, but they weren't as high as I had read here before our trip.

Here's what it was at the Yacht/Beach Club conference center on 03/20/11:

The fee is based on the weight of the package.
1 to 4 pounds: $3
5 to 20 pounds: $5
21 to 70 pounds: $10
over 70 pounds: $0.70 per pound.

I believe it would be the same at CSR.

They guy at the conference center business office seemed to wonder why I was asking what the pricing would be for packages other than the one I shipped. I knew people on the dis would be asking after I got home!

1) Services at convention resorts have been subcontracted.
2) They are not Disney employees.
3) If they handle your shipped-in box/package, there is a fee.
4) As mentioned, the fees are
. . . 1 to 4 pounds: $3
. . . 5 to 20 pounds: $5
. . . 21 to 70 pounds: $10
. . . over 70 pounds: $10 base + 70¢ per pound over 70
. . . extra fee for hard-to-handle or cumbersome packages
