Shipping supplies ahead to DL area.

Hi everyone!!

We are travelling with our son who requires alot of medical supplies. We are looking at sending his IV fluids and formulas down UPS ahead of us. I found a UPS store on the other side of the highway towards Fullerton that I can ship to. Does anyone know of anywhere closer to the resort area that receives packages and will hold them a few days?? This will be much easier than trying to carry them on boards with us. We are staying at the Portofino.

Is there a local medical supply store that will deliver them instead? There was a time when I needed daily medical supplies - when we traveled, I'd contact a local company to deliver my "refills" to our location. Generally they would time it within an hour of our arrival.

You should be able to ship directly to your hotel. I have done so before with no problems. Call the hotel and ask them to be sure, but I'm pretty sure they just hold it for you.

Thanks. I can't do it directly with a medical company as we are from Canada so insurances are different. I will try calling our hotel directly.

The hotel should absolutely be able to accept it for you. I would be sure to write a note for storage instructions....does it need to be kept in a cool place? etc.

I'd try and send them to DL hotel... Seems like an easy request to fulfill.
