Do the resorts offer a service where at the end of your trip you can ship all your souvies home together in 1 big box? Seems like I heard that you can as long as it's not edible. Will they have boxes, tape, etc there for purchase?

We've always just taken an extra piece of luggage but I'm not so sure we'll do that this year with the new American Airline fees.:furious:

We've done that, and it's no problem. However, it depends where you're staying. Some resorts may direct you to their business center.

What we often do, though, is go off property, to the UPS Store on International Drive, and ship from there. It may be a little cheaper.

Hmmmm....GOOD question wondering if anyone has done this from the BC/YC Hotel? Can this be done? Can't schlep box to UPS as we will NOT have a car, we'll be using disney transportation.

Many resorts do have a business cnter- off hand I can think of CR, CSR, and Dolphin.

What I could do - call the front desk of the resort you are staying at 3 weeks before you go to WDW (policies can change, so call close to your arrival date). Ask if a package could be shipped home from your resort and if they have packing materials.

If the resort does not have packing materials- in your suitcase pack a flattend box (pre bought at USPS, UPS, Walmart, Office Depot, where ever) and packaging tape. Also pack a plastic garabage bag and a sharpie marker.

Let at least one of your soveniers be a towel. Wrap all your goodies in the towel, place the towel in the plastic garbage bag, then place the plastic grabage bag in your pre purchased box. Tape up the box, label it using the sharpie marker and hopefully the front desk said they can ship it for you (or the business center).

Good luck !

We've done it the last few years and it's great.....we will never pack our souvies in luggage again :goodvibes. We've shipped from the WL and the Poly and have always gotten boxes from the resort gift shop or the front desk; it has never cost us more than $25 to ship.....and we always have atleast 2 pretty good size boxes. We've also found that it's cheaper to ship through the front desk rather than the gift shop....not sure why that is, but one time it cost us $23 to ship from the front desk as opposed to $75 through the gift shop :scared1:. Last September we shipped home 2 medium to large size boxes and a large poster tube for $23 (UPS) and our things arrived at home a day or two after we did ::yes::. We didn't have to buy tape or anything, the Poly and WL provided it :). One suggestion though....about half way through your trip if you have an idea about how big a box you'll need, ask at your resort gift shop or the front desk as they may not have anything if you wait until the last day . We waited until our last night to get boxes and although they did end up finding 2 for us, at first they said they didn't have anything. So check mid-way through your trip so you have time in case they don't have anything right away ;).
