We plan to let our 8 year old finally buy the monorail train and some of it's accessories this trip. Is it possible to ship items at the time of purchase or should we venture out to the local post office or UPS store?

You can ship directly from disney. We had a small tabletop fountain shipped home. But it was expensive. I am pretty sure it included insurance and all I think it cost almost $20. (the fountain was only $80 to start with).

You don't pay sales tax when you have it shipped home so that helps toward the shipping cost.

It's worth every penny to ship it home, you don't have to find the post office, boxes, and you get a break on sales tax. We usually hit DTD one evening and make most of our purchases there and then have them all shipped home.

I can't wait to get back down in October, I have lots of personalized ornaments to get for family in the UK, I'll pick out what I want spend 20 minutes with names and then have it all shipped home.

So if I go to the marketplace and buy the monorail and any other souveniers it will only cost $20 for everything?

What if I buy an Indiana Jones gun in MGM. Can the ship that home from that kiosk??

Thank you!!

I know my parents just came back from Poly & they said they could ship right there. It was one flat rate no matter how much stuff you had. Does anyone know if all the hotels do this?
