Ok - So as an outright chocoholic I didn't expect my Favorite Disney World food to be sans chocolate, in the form of School Bread in the Norway Pavillion.
Since my last trip, I've been telling all my work folks and friends that this is the best stuff in the "World"...
Only problem is that now they want some. One even offered to pay for me to to buy him some and ship it priority overnight. Now - I'd be happy to do that and sell someone else on the glory of the golden bun, but I didn't know if anything in the bread or custard itself would be perishable out of refrigeration for about 24 hours.
We're staying at the beach club on the coming trip, so I was considering buying a half dozen rolls right when world showcase opens, putting them in a Christmas Bread Tin, and shoving that in a pre-paid Fed Ex overnight box that I'd bring with me, but didn't know if the custard would go rancid...
Anybody know if I would be endangering lives with delicious baked goods, or have you shipped school bread successfully?
