Has anyone ever shipped a "care package" from home to themselves while staying at HIFS. I've read that people ship to themselves at the Disney resorts and theres never a problem. Anyone know if HIFS would have a problem with this? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Shouldn't be a problem at all. I believe all hotels allow incoming packages. You should put your arrival date on the package.

thanks TravelSheryl! Knew I could count on you for a quick response :)

yes, yes, I thought this was the best idea I had for our vacation. I packed 2 boxes of stuff to be shipped UPS at MOWC and we got there, and I told the front desk I should have two packages, and sure enough- they delivered them within a few minutes after we arrived into the room. It was great. I went on a tight budget, and with finiky breakfast eaters, so I packed an old toaster and then packed bread, poptarts, cereal, bowls, snacks-sunflower seeds are always good, and fruit snacks, and I also put two 12 packs of water in there too. It worked out great for us! In the morning I went to the hotel restaurant and bought milk for the cereal, and asked for butter packs for the toast. no problem. good luck. Make sure you put arrival date and name large on the box.

Go #24!

GREAT! I am definetly doing this. I wonder if I can ship "gifts from the mouse" to our room for the kids....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm ;)

We have done this many times. We ship down things we will not be taking back home such as diapers wipes snack etc.
They need to be addressed to the resort address and they ask that you put your arrival date on it.
