I read a while back that someone had purchased water from staples.com and had it shipped to their resort. I've considered doing this since we are on a diet (I know at disney?? not such a great idea) and I want to drink lots and lots of water. We are going to be staying at port orleans and checking in on march 30th. I don't really want to use one of the grocery delivery services since I don't need $50 worth of food. Can anyone comment or give me some advise on shipping water to the resort? Have you tried it before?? And how would I address it so I know its going to get there and I will get it? I plan on just shipping it directly there from the website, not shipping it myself. Thanks for any input

Let me ask-how are you getting to the resort? DME or taxi or car service? When we went in January we used *********** and they include a free 30 minute grocery stop. We picked up water, pop, fruit... Then before we left I had shipped stuff down UPS to OKW. I addressed it something like this:

Lori Burke
c/o Old Key West Resort
address
Reservation #
Check in date

Since I shipped it UPS I could track it on-line. It was there when we got there. I can't say that I would ship water myself unless you put the bottles in Ziploc bags. Then if something would happen there shouldn't be a wet mess. And put lots of packing around them
Hope this helps!

We are flying down and using ME to get to the hotel. With free transfers I just can't see paying for a towncar service.

I may try just having staples or sams club or something like that ship the water to me at POR. I'm pretty sure they offer tracking numbers for the shipments as well. Did bell services bring it to your room for you or did you have to pick it up? And did you call the resort ahead of time to let them know you were sending a package?

Thanks for the info
