Shipping package to hotel

If I want to ship a box of snacks, etc to the hotel before we arrive--how soon should I do it? And what sort of information would I need to mark on the box to be sure it's there when we arrive?

Anybody ever have any problems NOT getting their package?

We have never had a problem getting our package. Most often it is there before we are, and the send it up pretty soon, after we get to our room. One time it was locked up, in a room (we arrived later in the eve), and we couldn't get it till the next morning.

Put the resort name
your name, and arrival date
address of resort
If you go to the post office, or UPS, or whoever you will be using to ship it, it will tell you, how long from zip code to zip code. If you use the USPS, with delivery confirmation, you can check to see when it is delivered. I usually time it out, so it gets there 1 day (2 at the most) before we do.


Depending on the resort, there is a fee, for handling. At CSR, one time it was almost $19.00. I complained, by letter to the manager but it did no good. I haven't been charged anywhere else though. You may want to call and check. It kind of cancelled out any savings.

I think the convention resorts are the ones that might charge for it. but most of the other ones don't. I sent ours down about 4 days before we left and it was waiting for us when we got there.

Thanks guys for the information. I called and checked with ASMo and they do not charge for handling of the package. Just said to put name, confirmation number and date of arrival on it (along with their address).
