Shipping items home

We are planning a December trip and I'm hoping to do a little Christmas shopping. Is it possible to bring the flat rate boxes from the USPS and sent them home from the resort? Can you pay the flat rate fee at the front desk?

I am also wondering the best way to ship things back home. I heard that some of the stores will ship items for you, but are not 100 percent sure. I tend to carry my luggage on the plane and don't like to check a bag unless I have to so shipping things home would be very helpful.

Using the Disney shop app you can get free shipping with $75 purchase I believe

I try to save all my shopping for one day, then head to the bug WoD store in DS. Then, I ship it all home. If something breaks, Disney replaces it.
I've also shipped a suitcase home. I forget how I did that though.

I want to send some things to DD at her sleepaway camp from my camp--I mean WDW. You can pay the postage on those flat rate boxes at the post office before you go, and I've bought two for my July trip. I'm hoping to just hand the prepaid usps box over to my resort CM at the desk.

I have read on other threads that you can send packages from your resort for a fee, too. I'm sure there are lots of ways to get it done!

I had a flat rate box of items shipped to SSR & p/u - no problem... Going home, we were at the Beach Club last day and took the box to the Conference Center to ship home. They did not use USPS, but rather FED EX. The 5 day FedEx was about the same price as 2 day priority w/USPS. I didn't need anything right away, so we let it go 5 day. Received home - no problem.
