I had a quick question.

We are traveling with an infant and I need particular formula and other items shipped directly to my Disney Resort. (Riviera)

How do I go about doing this?

How do you time it so it shows up on your arrival day?

How many days before will disney hold it for you?

If there is a link with logistics I would appreciate anyone's help never did this before.

The easiest way would be if it's something you can obtain locally (PrimeNow or GardenGrocer or any of the shopping entities) and they can then deliver it to Bell Services.

If you're going to ship it through the mail or what have you, I believe you need to format the delivery address as "FIRST NAME LAST NAME RESERVATION NUMBER CHECK IN DATE HOTEL ADDRESS"

FWIW, Disney's info about shipping items to a resort:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/mail-services/
Receiving Mail
Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can receive mail throughout their stay. Occasionally, some Guests choose to ship items in advance of their vacation to help save luggage space.
If you intend to receive mail during your vacation, be sure the letter or package:
  • Includes the mailing address of your Disney Resort Hotel
  • Clearly features the word “Guest” on the front and the date of your arrival
Please note that a $6 per package handling fee will apply to all packages that are received through the Front Desk or are delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room.

Remember that if you are staying at one of the convention resorts, it’s another $20 handling fee..pretty sure Riviera isn’t considered one so that’s good.

have you considered packing it in your luggage? Some for carryon, some checked.

This page has a lot of good info you will want to know. Mail Services
OK. So reading this page makes me ask if they changed policies in the last 2 years? You used to be able to bring your purchases to guest services or concierge at your resort and as long as you had the receipts for everything to prove it was all purchase on WDW property, they'd pack and ship it home for you. We did it from AKL and the Poly. That's what we've done our last few visits including in March 2020 a week before covid shut down WDW. Has anyone been able to or NOT able to do this in the past year? From any resort?

This. Especially now. OP, I don't know what deliveries are like where you live or in FL, but I can tell you that relying on timely delivery of packages just ain't happening where I am. I would be concerned about it arriving on time for you needs, or alternatively shipping too early and sitting around to get lost. While I have shipped packages ahead in the past, at this point in time I would probably opt for a same-day delivery service either through a grocery or Amazon Prime. If it's specific brands you need (like the formula) without substitute, I'd find room to bring it with me even if that means an extra bag fee.

if i ship a package to BLT, will it incur the CR business center handling fee?
and in the info page for the CR business center it says it can only arrive 3 days in advance.
That's not really workable considering delivery issues right now. I'll need to seed it about 2 weeks in advance to make sure it gets there.
I wonder what will happen in that scenario

I am shipping packages usps on Monday 5/16 to BLT for arrival Saturday 5/21. I use the one price boxes. They didn't charge me for receiving in October even though I asked about it and offered a tip which was refused.

I'm planning on doing this for my December trip. Does anyone know how far in advance of arrival it's acceptable to have a package delivered? I'm thinking the day before arrival, but if that's a problem, I'll schedule it to be delivered the day we arrive and build in leeway in case it arrives a day late.

Last year I was using Amazon Prime but lately they haven't had several of the items I want--and don't want to carry in my luggage--so this would be easiest for me.

Thanks!

we arrived on june 30, but i already had packages arriving on june 1.
And i had about 50 packages arrive over the course of June, though most of them were during the first 2 weeks of june even though we only got there on june 30th

That's a lot of packages. Did you get charged the $6 fee for each package?

I've never sent a package prior to my arrival but am thinking of sending one this September.

A lot of packages. Too many guests send that many may result in high acceptance fees or even a refusal to accept.

i was expecting to, but i'm not sure if i was or not.
Last time i visited, i was charged for every package.
Considering that amazon has a habit of splitting up orders into multiple packages that can get costly

Those of us coming from overseas often do it.
My husband is 6'7" tall and wears a size 14 shoe (and a 39" sleeve on his shirts).
We can't purchase clothes or shoes for him overseas, so every time we visit WDW, i order clothes and shoes and ship it to our resort.
They charge for the service and we give a very sizable tip to the bell services person who brings the packages. Win win win.
