Shipping internationally?

So I just sold a Disney Bear for a little over $1500 on ebay to a buyer in Japan. In order to be covered by ebay/paypal for an item over $250, you need to have signature confirmation. It doesn't appear that the USPS offers signature confirmation with international shipping. Anyone ever run into this? What do I do?

Check with FedEx. I think they offer an international shipping with signature option.

Can we see a picture of this bear please? Is it a Steif? Love to see such a collectible. I have a bunch of collectible Disney items. Lots of tin toys too. On the subject, I would go with Fed Ex too. Especially when it comes to international shipping.
