Our family is heading to Pop Century in September for 10 days, and we are super excited about it :yay: But, we've never been on vacation that long with our son, who will be 17 months at the time of visit.
We've heard of people shipping water to the resort (from Costco or Staples), but we were thinking of also shipping diapers and the such... as our luggage is going to be quite full as it is!

Here's my question: Would it make sense to have Costco ship all the items I need (I'm guessing no more than 4-5 items, but water and diapers will be bulky) to the front desk, use a service like Peapod, or take a taxi to a Publix?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks! :)

would go with Costco - or you buy what you need and use UPS to ship it.

the label - hotel name, your name, dates you are staying, reservation number, address, city, state, zip

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last June and I shipped a huge box of supplies down ahead of time for us. It was so worth it. I had 2 kids and a 9 month old so we had a lot of stuff already. I sent an entire case of water, pack of diapers, container of baby wipes, big can of powdered baby formula, baby food, poptarts, fruit snacks, and a bunch of other stuff I knew that we would need. I called the WL and they told me how to address it and the box was delivered to us as soon as we checked in. We went through almost all of what I shipped so I had almost nothing to carry back home.

We ordered water, rice cakes, cereal and milk (ultra-pasteurized) from Gardengrocer.com last month. They said they'd deliver Friday afternooon, and when we came back from DHS, it was all there in our room.
I'd say it's probably a better deal than ordering Costco-sized stuff and having a ton of it left over, plus they have a better selection.

I would think it would be more economical to use one of the local grocery delivery services. We always have great service with WeGoShop. Would not hurt to check with them and also Garden Grocer.

We went with out 12 month old last year.

We bought what we needed and shipped it ourselves using UPS. It was super easy and was at the front desk when we checked in. Here is what we shipped:

-Diapers
-Wipes
-Formula packets (the to-go ones are super handy)
-Goldfish
-Cheerios

We also included some breakfast items for ourselves. We had a case of water shipped from Staples as well.
