Hey all,

The wife and I just got back 2 weeks ago from OKW (fun trip!). Anyway, she bought probably 800 bucks worth of souveniers and such, too many for us to carry on the plane. Anyway, we had the front desk ship our package and my DW filled out the form with our correct address which is in Salt Lake City, UT. For some reason (CM Error I'm Guessing), they tried to ship the package to Denver CO. which didn't work out obviously. Called UPS, they said to call who they returned it to. Called OKW front desk and they said they couldn't see any package and that we had to call the day people tomorrow. I'm sure that similar badness has happened to some of you... what did you do? I probably shouldn't worry too much about it, but at the same time, the whole "call back tomorrow" thing makes me think we are getting the run around... Thanks for any advice in advance! :earsboy:

Ship/tracking # if you do you can log on UPS site and see history movement of package.I wouldn't worry I'm sure things will work out.::yes:: :wave2:

The package most likely would not have been returned to the front desk. The resort must have a shipping and receiving or mailroom operation. When you call back in the morning, they will be open and should be able to check on your package.

How did you find out that the package was shipped to the wrong address? Did UPS call you and let you know?

Hi Goofy,

We actually checked the tracking on UPS and it said that the package had been returned to sender since they couldn't find the address in Colorado. The package was signed for by Disney/OKW on the return on the 3rd so I'd imagine either they figured out that they messed up and resent it, or who knows. The front desk said that they couldn't see anything but said call in the morning.

The plot thickens... Disney has NO IDEA who we should talk to. We have been transferred from their shipping department at the parks?? to the Lost and Found??? to the front desk at OKW where the package was returned by UPS and signed for by a CM who's last name we have.... Grrr.... They are looking into it and are going to call us back. The thing that is awful is, since UPS didn't lose the package (it was sent to the wrong address due to cast member error), no claim can be made for insurance on UPS. Therfore, if Disney can't find the package, I'm guessing I will have to dispute all of my souvenier credit card charges. What a pain...

FINALLY got to someone who knew what to do! Thanks to Jim at the General Store at OKW. He was able to track down what happened to the package after some investigation and call us back. They realized that there was an error in the original send and they shipped the package again to the correct address..should have it on the 11th. :hyper:
