We will be arriving for our 9 day stay at the BCV on May 13th:banana:

We will be in a studio so I bought a twin airbed for DD. I would like to mail it to the Beach Club prior to our arrival so we do not have to bring it on the plane as a carry on.

Can someone tell me the address of the Beach Club for shipping as well as the process of how to do this and what to expect.

Thank you

There is a sticky @ the top of the Resorts board with all the information and shipping addresses. You will most likely have to pay a service charge to have it delivered/received there - around $10.

I can't find the information I need on the sticky.

How to label, where to pick uo etc....

Can anybody help????? I need to get to the post office by Saturday the latest but was hoping for tomorrow......

Thanks

Resort Name and address, your name as guest.

You can pick up at the convention business center or have Bell Services pick up for you.

Using USPS can have delays because all mail goes to a mail sorting center at WDW before being forwarded to the resorts. UPS and FedEx are delivered directly to the resorts and can be tracked better.

Address that I used for shipping:
Disney's Beach Club Villas
1800 Epcot Resorts Blvd
Hold for Guest MY NAME
Lake Buena Vista FL 32830

You will find that some people advise you to put all kinds of things in the address, such as when you will be arriving, your reservation number, etc. However, I ship FedEx and there isn't room for all of that stuff on the label.

If you ship UPS or FedEx, the form asks for the hotel phone number: 407-934-8000

Your package will be delivered to the Yacht & Beach Club convention center.

The company that runs the convention center office charges a fee, based on the weight of your package:
Up to 5 pounds: $3
5-20 pounds: $5
above 20 pounds: $10

I have walked over to the convention center to get my package. I never tried asking to have Bell Services get it, so I can't comment on that.

To get to the convention center, you walk out the front of the hotel, and walk past where the buses pick people up, and keep walking a little ways until you get to the convention center building.

Bill said what I would have said about delivery delays when using the Post Office.

One tip that I read here is: you don't know what other boxes will be on top of your box, or next to your box after it is delivered. Some people write their last name on every side of the box, or decorate their box. That way, it will be easier for the convention center people to find it.

Thank you Thank you Thank you.

I will be at the UPS Store first thing Monday morning!!!

One other thing that I did -

My room wasn't ready when I got to BCV. I walked over to the convention center and got my box. Then I left my box at Bell Services with my luggage. That way, I didn't have to worry about getting it later, when I might have been tired and/or less patient. Also, I could have gotten something out of the box, if necessary, before giving it to Bell Services.

Has anyone shipped shampoos and other items to their resorts? We have just signed up for the owners lockers, so I want to get the full bottles of items, but will be without a car. Any advice will help.

When I got my first Owner's Locker, I shipped down stuff like soap, but not liquids. I used Tiffany Towncar to get from the airport to the hotel, and asked them to stop at a drugstore instead of a grocery store.

P.S. Love my Lockers!
