Does anyone know how much the ship replicas are on the Wonder? Thanks!!

If you mean the little model-type boats, last time we were there (a couple years ago) they were $25.

We purchased one on our first cruise and had it signed by Captain Henry. It is one of our favorite DCL memorbilia and have it proudly displayed on our fireplace mantle!

There is also a smaller version but I can't remember how much it was. I think around $10?

Just a word of warning when traveling with one. You might want to keep it in your carry on luggage where it will be easily accessible. We had one that we bought as a souvenier for my mother pakced in our luggage(dirty laundry suit case to be exact:rolleyes: ) and we were lucky enough to be pulled aside at the airport to get our luggage xrayed. As soon as they saw that they made us unlcok the bag and they had to search it. Knowing just what it was and where it was, DH tried to show them, but I guess touching the bag once its opened is a big no no for security(understandable, but you dont think of it at the time when you are trying to help). So, the officers went through the dirty laundry, found the ship and they had to open the box, unwrap the whole thing, test it for explosives, the whole 9 yards. I guess it has something to do with the shape and how it shows up on xrays???

Maybe it's the material it's made of, too. Some of the bobble heads we have bought at disney (the ones of the sports figures (i.e. mickey golfing) that are darker looking) are made of clay and apparently the xray machines don't show them well. We have had to stop twice and they have unwrapped them to check them because they couldn't tell what it was on their monitor. The tech that was there said they must be clay as we can't see through taht well.

I have one sitting right next to me that I look at daily - & proudly display in our rec room where visitors will see right away. It's of the WONDER - a 10" long ceramic (I guess) replica that I believe was "on sale" for $25-$30. when I bought it 10/01. It's one of my prized Disney possessions & sits alongside one of my others, the John Hemingway "Disney Magic - The Launching Of A Dream' book that we got on our 1st cruise in 1998.
