Shifting trip...to when?

We had a trip all planned for the last week before Easter and Spring break began, but that plan has had to change. Now it loooks like it will be sometime in April..any suggestions when would be best? We'd like to avoid the larger crowds and peak Spring break. thanks!

If you check out the hours posted for the parks on disneyland.com, it looks like shorter hours for the last week in April - therefore, they are expecting the parks to not be too terribly busy. I was told this was a good way to try to predict busy park times - check the calendar on the website. If the park is open from early till late, they expect it to be pretty busy. So the days at the end of April when it's open from 10am till 8pm should be quieter....

Be careful from April 24- 28 or you'll run into this group of rowdies.

The later in April, the better.
It should be a wonderful time to go. Not too crowded or hot, but remember weekends are busy no matter what.

Remember that the 5 for 3 tickets for Disneyland have to be started by the 24th of April or you don't get the special deal. That swayed us to a week earlier to get them started by then. We have to use the 2 extra days as 1/2 days but it will be a nice treat.
