Shhhh! Mickey's Twying to Sweep, be Quiet! - A July '11 Anniversary TR - Update 12/24

That sandwhich looked great! Is CHH a counter service restaurant? I have never eaten there before.

He is such a cutie pie, I don't blame you for sneaking pics.

CHH is a counter service restaurant. It's kitty corner from Haunted Mansion. Great food. They also have an upstairs, which I love. Definitely one of my favorites.

Poor little guy! I don't think I'd enjoy that "nasty" all over my face in the heat either! :sad1: Glad he seems better with some of it wiped away.

Crazy about the stroller loss for a bit. At least you made an extra fan for your troubles, right? Stroller theft had always been one of my big WDW worries. Glad yours' wasn't gone for good!

And CHH.. yummm.. I miss that place! :sad1:

Honestly, I was surprised that Jason picked that one, and I had no influence in the matter because we were at the Rapunzel M&G when the boys checked into the Pirate League. Had I been there, I would have STRONGLY recommended against picking that. And I'm not a parent! :rotfl:

The extra fan was a bonus for sure. But the stroller "loss" was very irritating and stressful.

I know, CHH is one of your favorites...:sad1:

Once again Joaquin has managed to make my evening, he seriously cracks me up! Whenever you post, Jasmine comes and sits in the recliner with me and she goes ga ga over Joaquin....she thinks it's just horrid how that poor little angel is having to suffer thru that makeup:rolleyes1 I don't know how effective she's going to be as a mother:lmao:

:lmao: Jason reached a point with him where he was basically like "suck it up dude!"

Jasmine will definitely want to tune in to the next installment. I have some pretty priceless photos.....

HAHA, I love the pic of Joaquin digging for gold while playing Angry Birds! With a little kid, it's "cute" and forgivable. With an 8th grader, not so much (yes, I have one of those kids in my class).

OMG, I can't believe the ride you had on the safari! I would've started recording all that was going on.

I love your rendition of the Star Wars theme!

I'm not a big fan of meat either, but I love some chicken nuggets! I do, however, know that they are meat! But dunk it in enough dip, and it starts looking more like sauce than meat!

Ooo, I like that Jason was so firm with Joaquin! I commend him for sticking with what he said!

Haha, I love Joaquin's fart comment at the end of the video!

Awww, that picture of his pirate face and not wanting to touch the nasty nasty nasty! I just wanna squeeze his cheeks! But then when I see the picture of some of the makeup off with those teeth, I think of Chuckie!!!

Isn't it funny how it's cute when a little kid does it, but not so cute when everyone else does?

I was so amazed by what was going on, I just completely forgot to start recording.

I love your rendition of the Star Wars theme!

Thanks! I'm very well versed in Star Wars.

I do love nuggets too. Especially nuggets at Disney.

Jason was very good with how he handled the situation.

Haha, I love Joaquin's fart comment at the end of the video!

That was like the coup de grace!

I would have never thought of him looking like Chuckie!

He does have very squeezable cheeks. I now from experience.

Why is it the weeks I'm busy, everyone else is not? Geez! Alright, well onto the update...

AAGGGHH... EVIL TOUR GROUPS! Well, at least they didn't cause too much trouble for you then, but I guess they don't care so much about rides like Magic Carpets of Aladdin :confused3 And with Joaquin's attitude, that wouldn't be good if they had begun causing trouble :sad2:

Awwww... poor Joaquin... I can see how that being uncomfortable with all the heat. "Nasty, Nasty, Nasty" :lmao: I never even thought of that way. I think that's the beauty of kid-isms lol And that must've been an interesting show with him upset in the background... poor him... At least Riley enjoyed it! :teeth:

Good decision to take off some of the "nasty" off Joaquin's face. He seemed to be in better spirits after that. I think you may want to check on those teeths, a bit large and grisly ;) YAY HM! The new queue looks so cool. It was just my luck like only a few weeks after I had last left, it opened. That will forever annoy me, though I'm not so sure about seeing the new hitchhiking ghosts since I thought the old version was fine :/

Ooooo... CHH! All the food looks so good there. I definitely must check it out next time I go. I also must make note of the fact though not to give any toys to Danielle :rotfl2: It seems of utter importance I know that lol

Big :thumbsup2 to Peter Pan and Laugh Floor! I must say, you are a very cocky Au-uh-TeeTee haha jk lol But they do seem to enjoy your company. I must say, the picture of Joaquin at the Laugh Floor peaking out from behind the book case, he looks like Chucky. Seriously, it's so eerie and he has the same face with his "nasty" on. O_o

Wow, how did the stroller end up over there? Really strange... I wonder what happened to the people who took your stroller (if that's what happened) to their stroller... Well, at least everything was still there and Joaquin gets another spray fan

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

No worries. I understand, school is very important. Homework has gotten the best of us all at one time or another.

I should never be given toys. It's a pretty good rule of thumb. I cannot be held responsible for what may happen when I have toys. :rolleyes1

I know, I'm a little cocky. I just know I'm awesome. I love the kiddos!

I never even thought of Joaquin looking like Chucky! I just thought he looked like Pirate Joaquin.

I have absolutely NO idea what happened with the stroller. It will forever be a mystery. But, we got a free fan out of the deal, and everything else was in one piece. :confused3

All caught up on your TR! Sounds like a fun trip so far, love the pirate makeover! pirate:

Thanks for coming over! We definitely had a good time on the trip. Joaquin made a very cute little pirate for sure. It got him a lot of attention around the park.

I have been insanely behind on all of my TRs so I am slowly getting caught up. Oi, I laughed so hard with this latest installment. I started laughing when you teased us with the line "I don't want to touch my nasty, nasty, nasty...." :lmao: Then coupled with the face shot and your running commentary on the scene with the country bear jamboree, I literally LOL. That kid has some spot-on comedic timing!

I totally want to do CRT one day for breakfast, but haven't been able to get my husband to agree to the price tag. Last time I ate there, it wasn't a character meal and just a regular table service. I did get an awesome glass mug to take home though that I still use.

Super cute photos of Rapunzel Riley with Rapunzel.

how cute that you saw Aladdin & Jasmine going on the ride! We got to see Alice and the Mad Hatter on the teacups once. That must be amazing for the little kids!

Haha, it's so funny when you feel like you fall behind on people's TR's, because it feels like it takes FOREVER to get caught up.

Joaquin has some excellent comic timing...in that aspect he is EXACTLY like his father....:rolleyes1

CRT is an expensive meal, for sure. I did it in February and July, but honestly I hadn't eaten there for about 5 years. I just can't justify it. However, I do think your DD would like it. Riley loved it! Here's hoping you can convince your DH.

That was the first time I've actually seen characters get on a ride. I thought it was totally cool!

I am subbing and hoping to catch up when I get back from HHI!

Poor Joiquin! I felt so sorry for him, since all that make up would be really hot at Disney, especially for a little guy who might not fully understand why he has nasty stuff on his face. It is kind of a scary face, too. I'm glad he got some of it wiped off.

Riley looks adorable in her Rapunzel dress. That looks like a fun meet and greet and breakfast in the Castle looks great, too.:thumbsup2

I felt sorry for him too. Jason most definitely did not think the whole process through. :sad2:

It was a lot of fun with Riley in her dress and being able to meet Rapunzel. It was a great morning.

We left off finishing up our morning at the Magic Kingdom. We all decided to head back to BLT so we could cool off in the pool. We decided to walk back to the resort.

Now, under normal weather circumstances, walking wouldn't be a huge deal. But it was so oppressive outside that by the time we got back, we were all so tired and burnt out. We decided to head into the pool right away.

We stayed in the pool for about and hour, because we had a dinner reservation we needed to head to. Liberty Tree Tavern!

We were getting ready in the hotel room, when Joaquin had a very serious conversation with me. He seemed a little bit crabby. I asked him what was wrong. He said to me: "Daddy says that I can't get on my ship".......

To this day, I honestly still have no idea what he was talking about. I just told him that it was okay, and that we were going to head out for dinner. He seemed to accept that. :lmao:

Since it was very hot and we were all refreshed, we decided to take the monorail. Can you guess who was last to the monorail station? :rolleyes1

Joaquin brought his "'ightyaver" with, and the CM at the monorail station was awesome. He had a pirate sword and he engaged Joaquin in a duel.

That was a great moment.

The monorail came pretty quickly. When we were on the monorail, we were all pointing out that we had a VERY hard time getting Joaquin's makeup off. I cannot emphasize that enough. It was VERY difficult. Well, Joaquin looked like a rock star, because we couldn't get it all around his eyes. So we dubbed him the "lead singer of the Cure". And asked him to pose...

DSCN0303.jpg

Pure.......awesomeness!

Joaquin happened to find a map on the monorail to read. They tour groups aren't even around and we can't escape them!

DSCN0304.jpg

We headed into the park and made a beeline to LTT. We went inside and checked in right away. We didn't have to wait too long for our table. The kids busied themselves with coloring. Joaquin is multi-talented and chooses to double fist it.

DSCN0311.jpg

We had a great dinner. And we all got to fly our freak flags high. That's right folks, we're weirdos!

Well, the kids were acting normal at first...

DSCN0308.jpg

CIMG4049.jpg

Even the adults were behaving at first....

CIMG4053.jpg

And then it went alllll downhill from there.

Photobomb!!!!!

CIMG4054.jpg

CIMG4056.jpg

Ladies and gentlemen, this is how we are on a normal basis...

And then the food came.....it was soooo yummy.

DSCN0309.jpg

Dad loves macaroni and cheese. Well, we needed to make sure that he controlled himself since there were many of us at dinner. So mom made sure that he got served the appropriate amount.

DSCN0310.jpg

He was not very happy with his serving.

Dessert came. They had this apple craisin cake with vanilla bean ice cream. That description does it absolutely no justice whatsoever! It was one of the best things I've ever had. Mom even asked for the recipe and the chef was kind enough to bring it out to us.

The kids were extremely excited about the dessert.

DSCN0312.jpg

I wonder where he would ever get that from?! :rolleyes1

Riley had to follow suit.

cb8e9280.jpg

And not one to be outdone, well. Wicket just demolished his dessert.

As you can see, we had a great time at dinner. And ever single one of us was positively stuffed afterwards. Everyone headed back to the hotel except for Jason, Joaquin, and I. We hung around for a little while on Main Street and did a little bit of shopping. We bought a few things (a big Lottso for Joaquin included) and then headed back. We wanted to watch the outdoor movie that night. They were playing Wall-E. We headed into the marketplace to get some snacks and then headed to the room to get our mugs. Joaquin, Lottso, and I headed down to the movie while Jason went to fill our mugs.

We made it through about half of the movie before Joaquin started falling asleep. It was also still pretty warm outside. So, we called it a night.

Up Next: Yeti, Yeti, come out come out wherever you are!

Kid-isms:

Joaquin -

I don't want to touch my nasty, nasty, nasty!

Daddy says that I can't get on my ship!

Bye bye monorail! Jason: What color is the monorail? Joaquin: The monorail is the color Pluto!
