Shhhh.....don't tell!

one of the best meals and service we've had on our trip this week. Plus it's one of the least expensive TS places at EPCOT

Love Marrakesh for both food quality and service. Inexpensive though? IIRC, lunch for 2 several months ago was ~$120. YMMV.

GF Cafe.., top notch service to go along w/ a fantastic meal. A real treat and must do for my family!

Had a wonderful breakfast there back in March. Would recommend to anyone as well.

San Angel -gross. From google reviews:

"Food Poisoning!!!!!!!!!

My family vacation to Disney was cut short due to food poisoning at this restaurant. The only food my family of four had in common the entire week was the chips and salsa from this restaurant. We all vomited profusely for nearly 24 hours after our $160 lunch. BE AWARE that this restaurant is not owned or operated by Disney and they did not accept responsibility. Please check the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation's restaurant inspection report on this restaurant before dining. I wish I had. See below from August 2017:

High Priority - Ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food marked with a date that exceeds 7 days after opening/preparation. Observed in walk in cooler. Cooked pineapples preparation dated is 8/20/17 and discard date is 08/27/17. Cut tomatoes salse preparation date is 08/21/17 and discard date is 08/28/17."

The restaurant you're looking for is Tony's Town Square. All the bad reviews are just propaganda to make sure ADRs are always available for those in the know . . .

LOL I love italian and have never found a pasta I didnt like. Heck I make whatever boxed ziti I find on sale and dump a jar of sauce over it (Fanny's) weekly, and love it.

Tonys is truly horrible. Not sure what it is, but my guess is the sauce. Expired Prego maybe? Chef Boyardee special sauce for Disney Parks?. I will bet a trip to Disney the OP is not referring to Tony's. Or Trails End :)

I would say Grand Floridian Cafe, Olivias, or Artist Point (been neglected by CG fans, but it truly, IMO, is the best signature restaurant) 9 Dragons is good and Teppan Edo too. Oh, and Las Ventanas!!

And I love that no one has mentioned this place. :rolleyes1
The table-service restaurants at the moderate resorts? Or the Swan and Dolphin? The S&D restaurants get great reviews but little traffic, even though they can be pretty convenient to get to. I wouldn’t make a special trip to a moderate just for dinner.

You had said "San Angel", do you mean San Angel Inn or La Hacienda de San Angel?
I've never eaten at La Hacienda (this is the one outside by the water), so I can't comment as to how good or bad it is.

But, I have eaten at San Angel Inn, and the food there is great, IMO.

San Angel Inn is my favorite. Mexican food is my favorite and it will always win over a great filet mignon! I have eaten there on every trip Ive been on since they opened. Not once have I gotten sick, or even close to it. Extrremely full, yes, but never sick.

Watch out, folks!

If your favorite under-appreciated restaurant becomes popular, it’ll become harder for you to get an ADR.

Yet, if you never speak of liking it, it could be drastically changed or even be closed.
This is a good point. We used to love Akershus and that is exactly what happened to it.

I admit I love skipper canteen - LOVE. And I've never had trouble getting in there as a walk up which always surprises me. Maybe it's just not everyone's taste? :confused3 I have heard people call it exotic and not for picky eaters, but imo it's really not that exotic. That said, I live and grew up in a very multi cultural community, so maybe I'm not the best judge.

LOVE Restaurant Marrakech but my silly family never wants to eat there anymore!

We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into Nine Dragons for lunch during a crazy Saturday at the F&WF one year. We loved it.

Tastes are so subjective; I’m often surprised when people hate places we love and vice versa.

:sunny:

Jiko would be my quiet secret.

We decided to try a bunch of "new to us" places on our trip next week including: Boathouse, Mama Melrose, La Hacienda, Be Our Guest (breakfast) and HDDR... hope they turn out good! Returning to old favs Rose and Crown for lunch and Yak and Yeti for dinner.
