Shhhh don't tell Justin

I know it's really early to be writing my report but I'm so excited to go !

Let's start with the cast

Me, Nanette (will be 32 when we go) - I remember when 25 was old, I can't believe I'm going to be 32!

DS, Justin (11)- Thinks we are going december 2008

Mickey- he is on his way from the land of ebay and will soon join our family


We were originally going to go to WDW July 2006, but due to some unforseen expenses had to cancel our trip I told DS we could start saving money and go in a couple of years. I was able to save the money alot faster than I had planned and knew we would be able to go this Christmas I told DS that we would go Christmas of 2008 just to be on the safe side. Now that I have made my reservation I decided not to tell DS that we are really going this year.

The plan (so far anyway) is to arrive in orlando Dec 19 probably in the evening. Still working out when to tell DS. I think that I'm just going to tell him we are going to pick someone up from the airport and when we get to the airport let him figure it out for himself. With the trip still being so far away that my change though.

ohhhh just looked at the clock. Didn't know it was already that late and I still have laundry and dishes to do, and animals to feed. Will have to add more to report later

OOOhhhh secret trip!! Yaaay, I hope you can hold out!!!!! I don't think I ever could. Hmmmm maybe I should plan another trip to see if I could keep it a secret. LOL!! I would definelty have to keep it a secret from DH, he would probably have a stroke or something! LOL!

I hope I can make it until december! At least with him thinking we will be going in two years it makes it a little easier.

I love secrets, and sometimes I can even keep them Your DS is going to flip when he hears the news. That's a long time to wait, I wish you the best of luck holding onto that news for so long, but I'm sure the look on his face will be worth the wait. < I imagine this.

I am going in December 2007 12/5-12/11, I heard that December is a fun time to go. I will be with you on the wait and count down the days as well.

BTW I remember when 32 was young!

I found a code! Just made the price for our room drop $300

Still waiting for our friend Mickey to arrive. His travel agent had some personal problems and could not get him on his flight hopefully he'll be here soon.

Dlad pal Mickey will be arriving soon....that is kind of an E-bay sore spot for me. The last 5 or 6 times I have ordered something from there it has taken forever, and when I e-mail to find out what's going on it's always the kids have been sick, so and so, and yada yada yada. It wouldn't drive me so batty if these people didn't have things in their listing about the importance of paying promptly within X amount of time or my order will be cancelled, no bidders with less than 12684 prior positive remarks, etc etc. (which I always pay within 24 hours anyway)
Anyway sorry to throw that in there, but I am guessing the secret is still in the bag then??!!

Justin still doesn't know we are going this year.

This is the first time I have ever had any trouble ordering on e-bay. I always pay right away too. I think I paid within a minute of the auction ending (I was in a bidding war )

I love that you are keeping it a secret! I would love to do that one day, but I'm so excited I have to share things with the world! I'm really bad at surprises!

Ooh! that would be so great if you were really able to surprise your DS! I wanted to surpise our 2 DS 7&5 for our upcoming trip but DH said they should have something to look forwad to too! Anyway good luck and looking forward to reading more!

I've been checking the airlines for ticket prices but they are still high for December. I think I'll wait to see what Southwest has to offer in a few months.

I think we will be getting into orlando around 5pm no matter what airline we fly in on. The plan so far is to check into the hotel and get rid of our carryon luggage and head to one of the parks, probably MK.

The first full day we are there we (I think) are going to eat breakfast in the cafe at POP and watch the show there at 8am (I thought I saw somewhere that they do the hustle) and then head out for DTD and do some shopping. We are going to do MCMCP this night

That's about all I have figured out so far.

P.S. DS still thinks we are going it two years, not this year. I just found out that he is going to miss a couple of days of school too Oh, well.

Mickey arrived at the airport (post office) back on March 1st, but the post office forgot to put a little note in my mailbox telling me he was here.

One more thing I can check off the list.

So back to the planning:

For December 21st I think we will go to EPCOT. I'm not planning on making any dining reservations here because there didn't really seem to be anywhere that caught my interest. Well, I would love to eat in France but DS would not like it. I think we will try to get something from each country and share it that way we can taste a little of everything. we'll be going back to EPCOT for a second day sometime later in out trip.

Revised plan for December 20th.

We're going to have breakfast at chef mickey's, then head to DTD and do some shopping After shopping I think we'll head back to the hotel for a late lunch and a nap, then it's off to MVMCP and Casey's corner for dinner. I can't wait to try their hot dogs

I tried to keep the secret, but I just couldn't. I'm too excited to go! DS keep asking when we are going and I couldn't keep it in anymore. Now he gets to help plan more of the trip.
