Another RCer update from the Queen herself ....

Pas says and that she misses the DIS and RC pals! No power as yet, but crews have restored power to Newark and Jersey City …so, getting closer. . Meanwhile the fireplace is crackling … Gramma is coming over and the kids are excited to dress up for Halloween, Pas has promised pictures which I will post....

The loss here on Staten Island is so sad, but most people did it to themselves. They didn't evacuate when told to. There are 8 dead so far on the island. After seeing the impact on the Jersey shore they had to know to leave, and if they didn't they took their lives in their own hands. I can't believe the devastation left here.

Happy to hear you all are ok, was watching channel 2 this am from Staten Island with the authorities looking for missing people. How terribly sad. You wonder what people are thinking when they don't leave when told too... every storm is different.

Hope that Sarah is getting all that she needs.

I'm glad for those who have had power restored and am keeping everyone else in my thoughts.

On a RC note, I'm feeling BWI - ish today. I think it's time to call CRO and change my BC CL segment to BWI CL. A summer trip is looking more likely and I think I'd rather do BC then when I know we can get a lot of SAB time in.

Dani... so sad especially when loss of life may have been avoidable. Feel so bad for the people of NJ and NY ...

OMG! Is it the playset that was sold at the gift shops at Disney??? Was about $80 with all of the little figurines?? DD5 wanted that SOOOOOO BAD!!! We did not have room to bring that back with us in our suitcases, so she is getting it for Christmas...tell me how she likes it!

Yes that is the one...and she loved it! But boy it took us what felt like forever just figuring out how to get it out of the darn box!!

Hi guys! We "weathered" the storm just fine. Power went out, came back, went out, and is back again. No damage at all. Very lucky. Friends we know haven't been so lucky. We love in the middle of the island so I wasn't terribly worried.

Happy to see all my RC family pulled through ok.

Ok officially switched back to Poly from BC. Kids favorite resort and MK favorite. I have found staying at Poly was the most relaxing of all stays. Can do a few rides at MK and back to Poly pool, then Epcott for a bit and back to Poly.
