Okay...I need some help here ladies. Currently have Nov 10 2013 booked as a 4 night dream cruise. Slowly realizing that there will be more decorations up in the resorts and on the ship if we go after your Thanksgiving.

So now we are looking back at the Dec 1 four night cruise, and hitting WDW for 4 nights after. Does this sound like a good move to you? I am hoping that this week would be somewhat slow crowd wise....and a big thing here...DH wants this week and he wants a 4 night!!:cool1:

I know this week doesn't get discounted which is not making me happy, but I want to make DH happy and stop switching this cruise around!! Plus I really would love for the girls to see all the resorts gingerbread houses!!:goodvibes

THoughts....

Definitely go with December, the decorations will be awesome!!!! I am not sure about DCL, but I know with RC if there was a price drop on the cabin category we booked we could request the price drop as a credit to our acct. Something to look into at least.

Just got off the phone with CRO, called to make a payment. Sometimes they are just wacky.

Me-I'm calling to make a payment.
CM-I see you don't have the dining plan with your reservation.
Me-No, we book room only.
CM-So are you not planning to dine while you're at Disney?
Me-I think we're set, but thanks.
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

That is hysterical! :lmao:

I had a CM the other day trying to do the hard sell on the DDP. She kept trying and then I advised her that with the amount of food my family wasted on the DDP the last three trips we could probably feed a small 3rd world country...and then proceeded to ask her whether she would be willing to guarantee that all future wasted food would be send directly to starving children across the globe...she was silent...:rolleyes1

I was just being fecetious obviously...but at least it shut the sell down. :rotfl:

Interview in 1 hour and 15 minutes!

I am sure she never forgot that conversation either  Glad the interview went well, keeping my fingers crossed that somehow you get it over the co-worker
:goodvibes

Hi everyone! :goodvibes

Gwynne: :lmao: "No, actually we don't eat at all while we're on vacation."

Candace: Positive thoughts your way for that interview. I'm sure you've bowled them over. :thumbsup2

I'm anxiously awaiting the real start of kindergarten tomorrow (instead of today's preview day) so I can commence getting giddy for Disney!

How was the preview day? I am sure tomorrow will be great and let the giddiness begin :dance3:

Ok, I am doing our preliminary ADR list...and we have 14! :scared1: Lily is at the age where we MUST do character meals. I want quality dining experiences. Therefore, there will be LOTS of food to be had. It's a good thing we are going for an extended period!

So far we have:

1) 'Ohana dinner
2) 'Ohana breakfast
3) BoG dinner
4) CRT lunch or dinner (Danimal's request!)
5) Crystal Palace breakfast
6) Kona Cafe dinner
7) Kona Cafe breakfast
8) Via Vappoli dinner
9) Le Celler lunch
10) Cape May dinner
11) Chef Mickey's (I say dinner, Danimal says breakfast :rolleyes1)
12) Garden Grill dinner
13) 1900 PF dinner
14) SciFi lunch

This is an epic list! I love it! Only one I was not a huge fan of was Sci fi, but DH loved it!

September 6th is my birthday so that must be a good sign!!:thumbsup2 Hooray for Disney!!!:goodvibes

Yes, we all have an inner She-ra don't we???:rotfl:

:dance3: How exciting!!!

Thanks, ladies. :grouphug: I am so excited that I've just ordered another Halloween goodie from Disney Store for the surprise I'm planning (of course, the free shipping didn't hurt either.) It's a door hanger. Kinda cute, eh?

Loooooove this list! Lots of stuff for kiddos and mama. :thumbsup2 Sci-Fi is the one where you sit in the cars, is that right? How many can sit in "one car"? I know nothing about this one. :upsidedow Kona for breakfast AND dinner. :cloud9:

Speaking of the lovely Poly, I wonder if Jeanette made that scrumdiddlyumptious Poly Punch? :rolleyes1

Apparently, it was two things: full of "too many boys" and "a bit boring." :rotfl: I'm so in for it.

That is quite the list!!!!! :goodvibes

I'll agree with you that Sci Fi might have the best burgers at Disney!!! We got burgers last month and it was delish, but ginormous!!! I ate a third of it and was stuffed.

I'm mad that I forgot to order onion rings... :headache:

Really? So you see that it's the WL thread???

I see the HTML code... :confused3

Maybe because you created the link that is the way you see it. But I definitely just see the title of the WL thread. Well at least from my iPad. I will check from laptop in a bit.

Emailed it to you.

Okay on my laptop now and seeing code, so obviously the Dis App converts the HTML code.

While I was cleaning up from dinner, I said to DH, did you hear me the other night when I said I booked the Contemporary. He looked at me and said, no I didn't hear that. See I knew he didn't hear me the other night :listen: So we briefly had the conversation and he asked me what I had read about reviews as he knows I research every travel detail obsessively :lmao: I said his son really wants to stay there and the biggest negative was that it "lacks theme" but that is what DS wants and it will be perfect since we will probably spend a lot of time in MK that trip. He asked where we had planned on staying and knew immediately it was going to be more $, I just said a couple of hundred but it is 2 nights and worth the experience :rolleyes1 So that is done!

Oh and someone posted that a PIN was out for the fall dates, I called and I have nothing, but the CM, said I should keep checking the website because something should be coming very soon!!! DH said if we don't get a discount for Oct that we will just move it and pull the kids out of school for a day or two another time. Yeah, my kids will NEVER have perfect attendance

Hope everyone had a great day :goodvibes

Ok...I figured out how to make a link... But how do you change it so it shows the name of the thread versus the http address...do you know what I'm saying?

To make words or sentences into links...

So, the easiest way to do this with the coding used on this forum is to copy and paste the thread title (or type out what you want the link to say) then you copy the link of your thread from the address bar, highlight the text of the title you just pasted or typed in and hit the "Insert Link" button in the post editor (the little chain-link earth doo-dad), it will pop up with a window asking you for the URL. You paste the URL into the window, hit "OK" and your title / text should then link to that thread. Hope that makes sense...
