sydneysmom- We originally picked CR because of the walk to MK-we really liked CR and enjoyed our time there. When I made the res for T'giving 2009 it wasn't available and we made the switch to GF and now there is no going back....ok except for this trip when we are temporary WLers

I miss you fantastic ladies (and occasional gent) everyday!! I miss my day job that allowed me to spend 9 hours a day with you without interruption!! Funny how now that I have more "home" time... doesn't mean more PC/RC time!

Princess Bree is sooooooo adorable... I love her glasses!! I hope she's doing well!!

Dani and Pas will be in WDW in no time---I'm jealous!!!

So a little update on me DH and I both got transfers, I will be making the same $, he will make a little bit more. We start the day after Labor Day. Our apartment is right on the main tourist strip in Kissimmee, behind Chili's and pretty much across the street from Orange World--just a couple blocks from Old Town. I have started to organize and trash stuff, but I'm dragging my feet when it comes to packing.

DH just got his fixed so he can sell it!! We have a buyer, he just needed to get it up and running.

My stepmom is coming to get the 10 year old dog. I've been watching her until she could get herself in order, and I pretty much told her that she better hurry because we're only taking Baxter. I think Baxter will be sad when she goes--but I think Chassis will be for joy.

Carpal Tunnel is still bad. I'm on terrible interim insurance that they offered me with severance, so I'm going to wait until I move and jump on DHs to get it checked out by someone down there. I wish they would have done the release in February when I asked for it. Six months of pain in your main hand is just a touch on the annoying side. They never did get me a medication that didn't make me sick.

It still hasn't set in that in 5 weeks I will be moving right by my happy place!! I am so close that it's scary. Check out the maps on caneislandliving.com!! We've got most of our furniture on order--and I'm pumped to get new stuff!!

So before I go.... lets talk anniversary. I'm thinking of booking YC-CL for a night. Is that dumb?? I also thought of booking a LM room for New Years. I'm waffling.

One more thing.... when is everyone going to MNNSHP or MVMCP??? I want to buy tickets as soon as I get my work schedule, but if anyone was going, I will make a request!! Let me know!!

@Deena: DBF says you won't stay in Kissimmee for long. He thinks you will move to a new apartment once a month because apartment changing just like resort changing. I was more optimistic (or would it be pessimistic? ) and said every 6 months. Love ya!

I have to do something for DBF's birthday. I don't know what though. He turns 28 on August 6th! I told him I want Outback because he knows I love Bloomin' Onions. He likes to make fun of me and say we will get a Bloomin' Onion for me because I will eat it all. It's so true though!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Ellie's mom and I am a serial resort changer.
I have changed resorts every single trip for the last 6 years
I always start with just one resort , read all about it then compare it to others. This is when I change my mind .
Then I do the split stay.
Then I change one of those resorts because a promo has come out.
I confess this goes on over a period of months.
This year I started out booking POP, then came the POP,and POR , now because of free dining (my siren call) I am doing the Dolphin and POR.
I'm not looking for help or a cure, for my "problem" . I just want some understanding.
FYI, My spouse is a go with the flow kind of guy . He doesn't care where we stay, as long as he does not have to plan anything, or pack.

ARRRRGGGHHHHHH! I just had a LOOONG post written and it disappeared!!!!

Deena: are you still planning on dinner at Cali Grill on Sept 28? My boys, my BFF and I are still planning on a 7:45 pm dinner on that night.....I am so excited, it is my first signature meal, and my first time at Cali Grill!
My DS 16 and I LOVE watching Master Chef, and I told him last night, that was the type of food we'd be eating! It will be interesting, I am sure!

Our MNSSHP day is Sept 30 ....it would be so nice to meet up with others if they are there the same time

I am a little nervous today, I'm trusting my hair to a new stylist for a cut and highlight! My normal stylist has just gotten too expensive.....The salon I go to has been voted top salon in Canada for a few yrs in a row, also the owner has won Hairstylist of the year over the last few yrs, a cut there is now $65.00 just for the cut! Highlights and cut can be upwards of $200
When I start to worry about adding a tip on top of the $68(cost with tax), I know it's getting out of my price range!
This new salon I am trying today is in my town, so that'll be nice if I could start going to them. The costs are MUCH more reasonable.....a cut/highlight is $70 so much easier on my pocketbook! It is just so hard to trust someone new, I hope she is good

Sydneysmom, We understand resort indecision, it's our hobby! I'm very partial to YC. We are staying there in Oct. On the other hand, WL is a really cool resort, too. One of these days we'll try GF, but after all the work is completed.

Since we are doing the PP+ and now that Lily is REALLY into Mickey, I booked us a Tusker House breakfast. She is obsessed with the Mouse! She hugs the stuffed animals so tight and her face lights up. When she sees him on TV or on my phone she gets so excited. I can't wait to see her reaction to seeing him in person this year! It's going to be so much fun!

12 days until the Poly! 2 days until online check-in!

You know, showing up at the resort and it not being what I expected at all, or forgetting my passporter book at home which has all my tickets in it! I'm on the fence!! Aargh!! I'd love 5 nights BC and 2 nights Poly, but really don't think that's a possibility money wise... So do I change it all to BC or do I do 4 or 5 nights at CBR and 2-3 nights at Poly or 2-3 nights at BC?? I can't decide!!
