:welcome: Be sure to come back with a full report :goodvibes

SSR was our home resort when we owned DVC....it's beautiful there!!

Sounds lovely! We hope to try AOA next year (or AKL villas), hmmm we will see! But your split sounds great! Have you rented points for the SSR portion??

Happy, happy (?) Monday, ladies! :goodvibes

How was everyone's weekend? Up to anything? Changes to report?

I'm trying to catch up a bit. Reading about Candace's new planning! :woohoo:

I'm also counting down the seconds until my house guest leaves. 2 weeks for a non-immediate family member is 11 days too long. I want my house back... I want my LIFE back! :crazy2: Oh man, I'm horrible -- I know.

We're headed into the city this weekend for Lollapalooza. Kiddo had a blast last year so we decided to take her back this year. Rock indoctrination should start at an early age. :lmao:

--------------------------

Pas: So clooooooose! :goodvibes

Dani: How goes it? Hope all is well. Haven't had a chance to read back yet.

Kook: Oh my, your daughter is GORGEOUS! princess: And the only thing missing from that Lapu-Lapu pic besides your lovely face would have been a professional Lapu-scraping spork.

:grouphug: to everyone... seems like I've missed a LOAD!

Yes! Absolutely :thumbsup2 DS11 has a Paper Jamz guitar, you have to see DS3 rockin out to the Ramones :woohoo: Soon, you will have your house back. YIKES after an afternoon, I am ready to throw everyone out

Tomorrow is my single digit dance day :dance3:

where is dani??? Sis, I hope you are OK.....less than a week now

:lmao: I was trying to appear nicer by upping the amount of days to 3 but I'm more in your "one afternoon" camp really. :rolleyes1 :lmao::lmao:

OMG, rockin' out to the Ramones?! After mine own heart, he is! Give him a huge high-five from me -- one of "those wacky-RCers."

Bree still loving her glasses? Is she all used to them now? My last pair took me a while to get used to. (It was probably just me being awkward though. ;) )

Single Digit Dance Eve Dancin' with Pas! :dance3::banana::dance3:

Hi happy2012! As I always say, the split stay is the only cure for my family's resort changing! We're now addicted to dividing our time!

I'm also counting down the seconds until my house guest leaves. 2 weeks for a non-immediate family member is 11 days too long. I want my house back... I want my LIFE back! :crazy2: Oh man, I'm horrible -- I know.

Miss, that IS a long time! Maybe you should add a ticker!

Dani, how are you?

Very happy to reach our 180 day mark for January! I had some difficulties with the website while making ADRs this morning, but it all turned out fine after 30 minutes on the phone with disney dining.

Four pages to catch up on so much going on with everyone and pas started a PTR . Dani and pas's trips are getting so close and all this talk about cruises has me on the edge of my seat reading.

Marie is going to try parasailing, I guess we all know now who is the adventurous one in our family:thumbsup2

No chanes to my trip other than my continual ADR tweaking

:lmao: Yes! A ticker counting down the seconds until we take our guest to the airport. That would be brilliant. Though, I'd get nothing done all day with having my eyes glued to it.

Ooooh, ADRs! What'd you nab?? The site has been wonky lately. I just logged on to "No Reservations Found" which always momentarily makes my heart beat a bit faster.

 You are so right. She's our RC Daredevil. pirate:

What'd you change, ADR-wise? popcorn::

Edit: I was just about to do my customary "Check for Le Cellier Lunch Ressies" when I realized that we're going to do the Bluezoo thing instead. Old habits die hard, eh? LOL. Oh, and whilst doing this, I noticed I'm now under the 50-day mark. :woohoo:

No resort changes here! I'm really happy with my BC decision. :-) almost did the split stay thing, but I figured it'd be more of a hassle with the 2 little ones.

ADRs are going to need some tweaking though due to the decision to try to get some family pics done while we're there.

Now that's funny! I know it's tough to break your old habit when stalking ADRs. My husband laughs when we book a "last-minute trip" (like booking October in July) because of all the ADR stalking that results.

But for January, it should have been a breeze. Unfortunately, my on-line reservations appear only some of the time, and this morning was not one of those times. So that made it tough for the 180+10 ADRs. I had to call at 7am EST and got: Garden Grill dinner, LTT lunch, Artist Point (new for us!), Yak & Yeti lunch, Citricos dinner (swap for BOG if it opens in time!), Chef's de France lunch, San Angel Inn dinner (may change that), Mama Melrose lunch, Yachtsman dinner, Via Napoli lunch and Le Cellier dinner. As you can tell, we love TS! But I'm looking at all of these and already thinking of changes - I really wish we could fit in Tokyo Dining, Bistro de Paris, Bluezoo and Jiko, but I don't want the boys to miss their favorites.

I'll likely book a Kona breakfast and maybe even Ohana breakfast because CL is closed during our Poly stay. Breakfast will be easy for the second half of our stay at BWI CL. But it took forever on the phone today with the other ADRs, so I'll at least wait until tomorrow.

What's on your list for September???

Your "last minute" sounds like our last minute. :lmao: Nice haul on those ADRs! As I am clueless, can you only do 180+10 via phone?

Love the sound of your ADRs. What would you change San Angel to, if you change it? I was a bit underwhelmed at SAI last year, though we enjoyed their drinks. :thumbsup2 The service was meh. I'd give them another try though; I'm always willing to give a second chance... or the one across the way, La Hacienda? Haven't been there yet. I can't resist margaritas. (Or Grey Goose Slushies.) Would love to hear how you like Artist Point. The menu looks lovely.

I tend to feel a bit claustrophobic with too many ADRs; I'm weird like that. :crazy2:  Let's see if I can remember! The only ressies we have are:

We've got:
Day 1: Liberty Tree Tavern, lunch - Our first time trying this one.
-- We'll supplement this with beignets for breakfast over at POFQ and maybe a CS dinner back at the hotel.
Day 2: Bluezoo, dinner - Another first. Love the look of this place. Thanks again Gwynne for the link to the Magical Dining deal! :thumbsup2
-- We'll probably have more beignets before heading over to check-in to BC possibly via a boat trip to DTD. Maybe lunch at T-Rex or Wolfgang Puck Express... or maybe a really naughty lunch of "just ice cream" at Beaches & Cream. This would "save room" for Bluezoo. Sounds good, right?
Day 3: 50's Prime Time, lunch - First time. I can't resist the siren's call of fried chicken and greens.
-- We'll head back to DHS for our first Fantasmic in the evening and grab a cupcake from Starring Rolls. I'm trying not to drool whilst thinking about it.
Day 4: Breakfast at Fresh. We went here last year and couldn't miss it this year.
-- This is our MNSSHP night. We'll probably have a late lunch in B&C or somewhere along the Boardwalk, ESPN maybe.
Day 5: Dinner at Rose & Crown.
-- This is the day I'd go for us having lunch at Le Cellier if the ADR Gods were extra generous.
Day 6: We think we're going to AK on our last day -- haven't booked an ADR since we're not sure. We'll either do Flametree or Yak & Yeti, both of which our lovely RCers recommended. :goodvibes

With a whopping 5 ADRs, I'm already feeling a bit anxious and pinned down... :headache: :lmao:

Pixarmom: what a great list of ADR 's you snagged! Here is our line up for September

Ohana dinner
Chef mickeys dinner
Mama Melroses F! Dinner

Just in FEB 2011 I got brave enough to try all Universal/IOA's goodies :) I had a teen son on a Mom n son trip who I couldn't let down ;) remember, I tolerate the bottom row on Soarin' ! This will be a true testimony to my ability to overcome fear :)

Hi RCers,
Today was cook day, got a lot of meatballs made and popped them in the freezer.

Can someone advise me on an ADR question? I can get reservations for Garden Grill for 4, but when I add a 5th, (or 6th-as a test) it's a no go. We'll be 4 adults and a 5 year old. Are we out of luck? Keep looking? Would they seat us if I booked 4 and 5 showed up? Thanks bunches for any and all thoughts.:goodvibes

Pixarmom, Missout,Jenny, Chimo2u, I am enjoying reading the ADR plans, looks like some yummy trips coming up!! :dance3:

Missout-Glad you got Blue Zoo! :cool1:

Koh, Bet you guys are going to love Stormalong Bay! :thumbsup2

I'm off to watch a bit more Olympics. I'm still giggling over the Queen and James Bond. That was a moment.
