I do believe I just scared my teacher who so ironically happens to be my uncle
lol.
In my Shackespere class, I compared a character to a Disney "head-shaker". A Disney head-shaker is one who shakes his/her head at Disney in opposition to its "magic". They may say things such as "why do you keep going to Disney? Disney is for babies" etc...
Well...I compared Angelo, a character from Measure For Measure, to a Disney Head-shaker...now, my uncle; my teacher, is a HUGE Disney head-shaker and I got very snarky in my paper lol...perhaps he took it as a hint and will realize that he must stop telling me that I need to stop liking Disney lol.
I did get a perfect score on the paper, however, his comments were nonetheless interesting.
He couldn't get over that I took such a play and compared it to Disney! lol.
I would never, of course being the huge Shagspere fan that I am, compare it to such a thing if I didn't believe the comparisons were a perfect fit. I would have no intentions of "degarding" his brilliant works lol.
Have you ever compared Disney to a deep subject or a subject of great meaning to it and imagined it in a Disney perspective? Have you ever been in a serious situation but still found hints of Disney looming about even if you didn't outwardly express it?
