I do believe I just scared my teacher who so ironically happens to be my uncle  lol.

In my Shackespere class, I compared a character to a Disney "head-shaker". A Disney head-shaker is one who shakes his/her head at Disney in opposition to its "magic". They may say things such as "why do you keep going to Disney? Disney is for babies" etc...

Well...I compared Angelo, a character from Measure For Measure, to a Disney Head-shaker...now, my uncle; my teacher, is a HUGE Disney head-shaker and I got very snarky in my paper lol...perhaps he took it as a hint and will realize that he must stop telling me that I need to stop liking Disney lol. :rotfl:

I did get a perfect score on the paper, however, his comments were nonetheless interesting.

He couldn't get over that I took such a play and compared it to Disney! lol.

I would never, of course being the huge Shagspere fan that I am, compare it to such a thing if I didn't believe the comparisons were a perfect fit. I would have no intentions of "degarding" his brilliant works lol.

Have you ever compared Disney to a deep subject or a subject of great meaning to it and imagined it in a Disney perspective? Have you ever been in a serious situation but still found hints of Disney looming about even if you didn't outwardly express it?

Well I had a long paper due my junior year about anything and I made mine about the creation of Disneyland. I got an A :goodvibes

I relate almost ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING to Disney. Have you ever heard someone say "I've never had a ____ like this" and you want to burst out into song "You ain't never had a friend like me!" etc.? It happens to me all the time. It's quite a burden. :rotfl:

So yes, I relate to EVERYTHING you are saying.

PS - Curiosity, did you continue to write Shakespeare's name in different ways on purpose?
PPS - Hi Cat! :wave2:

:upsidedow ;)

And none of them are misspellings.

Hi, Ash!!! :wave2:

the strangest things remind me of disney...coming out of food tech today and i smelt damp earth which made me think of staying a a WDW hotel. Also when i went to Greenwich, a cafe there had them buttons you push if your disabled and it automatically opens the door for you, you hardly see them in the UK so it made me think of Florida :p

When we went to London, we compared EVERYTHING to Disney.

The "tube" was like the Monorail.
The people were so nice, we felt like they were CM's.
The music was like, duh, the Rose and Crown Pub in EPCOT.

So many more i can't think of now

woot go London!

Greenwich is close to London :) you get really amazing views from the top of the hill there (and stupid me forgot to bring a camera DOH!)

Yeah i'm pretty polite though it's natural. If someone ran into me i'd say sorry :p and lucky me i get to listen to that music all day!

now back to your regularly scheduled thread :-D

Well, compared to Chicago, I think London Was SOOOPPEERR polite. I mean, people will run into you and like just ignore you. if someone ran into *you* it's nice to know you'd say sorry. If only there were more people like those londoners :P

And we loved that sign that said "98% of Londoners pay the correct fare. Are you part of the 2% that doesn't?" In the tube... lol

And we loved that West Minster Abbey... reminded me of Cinderella's castle.

lol :)

i want to go up to London now or at least go back to Greenwich to take some photos :)

when i went to Greenwich i had some ice cream which was apple pie flavoured and made me think of eating apple pie in Fort Wilderness :)

Oh I love Apple Pie!!

Uhm, my mom reminds me of Wendy.

another random thing which is disney related, Wendy and Alice are voiced by the same person :p and both are set in the UK (at some point), and both are rides in fantasyland (actually fantasyland has quite a few rides based in the UK... strange)

ok now back to this... i was watching steamboat willie and it made me think of sitting in the back of that camera shop in MK watching it on the movie screen :-D i've only been in there once though and i can't wait to go back in there (if i remember to)
