Thank you, Tim. Didn't do dinner tonight as I had a nail appointment and a favor to do for Markie. I think we'll wait and celebrate in September at Disney.

My MIL is making some good progress. They have her BP stabilized and she's off the medication for that. They're weaning her off the ventilator today and hope to have her breathing completely on her own. So there are definitely positive signs.

I didn't know that the sword actually moves at times (I first found that out when I read a TR). For sure have Reid do that.

Went to see my breast surgeon today. I have now officially gotten the clean bill of health and no longer have to see my oncologist or take my medication.

Kathy, this wonderful news!!!

I didn't realize you were still on medication either. It must feel so liberating then to be off of it! Good for you Miss Kat! This news is definitely worth celebrating. You should plan another trip, say around mid-October...

DH is being a poop! He really loves Disney in October. Plus we're going to try one of those special Disney Youth Programs field trips and they are not offered in November. So, it looks like we won't get to meet the famous Ana and adorable Christopher. We'd love to send postcards to Ana again though!

Ugh, this is so messed up...Kat's going in September, I'm going in October and you're going in November! Can't you all just coordinate your plans around my schedule instead?

Yep, I started the medication five years ago this coming June.

Mid-October is when I wanted to go, but it is too close to Mark's trade show.

I'm still bouncing November around in my head. Depends on taxes and expenses for something that will be coming up.

This was supposed to be my night to do an update. But, the last two days have been very hectic dealing with an issue with our youngest son, Markie. Between text messages, telephone calls, emails, etc., it has been insane.

I wasn't going to bore all of you with it (although I must admit I told Nicki and Marv and Tim in confidence), but I thought I would share with you as you are all my friends.

However, for those of you who are friends with me on Facebook, this CANNOT be posted on my Facebook page until you see that I have posted it.

So have I got you all sitting on pins and needles yet? Well, here it is..........

Markie purchased this today and will be proposing to Alisha two weeks from tomorrow when they go away for her 21st birthday.

As those of you have followed my TR's, you know that I've spoken about Markie and also Alisha. We love her like she is already part of our family and we couldn't be happier.

I wanted to keep it a secret until he actually proposed, but I just couldn't...I'm so excited. Markie talked to Alisha's dad tonight and he gave him his blessing.

Markie is anticipating a summer 2014 wedding so that Alisha can first finish school (she is studying to be a surgical nurse).
